I found this very useful. Thank you. After 35 years i am going to start riding again .Going slowly- choosing bikes, and equipment. I want to have relaxed rides looking around looking at the landscape. I am starting with short rides first ( 200+200 km) ---- I will be using a Pulsar 150 for now.and will slowly upgrade. Speed is not my aim now-- i am comfortable at 80 and will slowly graduate to faster bikes. Thanks for so much information you are providing as my first priority is helmets and clothing..
That pizza wala point is valid. People spend a lot on weekends casually (eating/drinking) not realizing they go way past their budget, but compromise on safety by buying substandard riding gear. People have lot to catch up. Another good point at the start - Dream helmet. I too will get mine hopefully next year.

Hmm.. 20% on Protective Gear doesn’t seem universally applicable.. My bike cost me 7.5 Lac whose 20% is 1.5 Lac.. My HJC Helmet, Alpinestars Jacket, Gloves, Pants, Chest and Back inserts etc.. cost me around Rs 50K.. Beginning to wonder 🤔 what else I need to buy for the remaining 1 Lac !!
sir/mam what is the solution for persons wearing prescribed spects while buying helmet?? bcz chick pads do not allow to wear spects after wearing helmet.. due to this reason, i am unable to find correct helmet.. kindly also suggest any spects friendly helmet..

Well i will say it depends on the bike too ,the helmets we get for 2k is ok ok for a 200 cc or 150cc bike and for normal roads the speed limit is 70 or 60 for bikes ( not express highways and such roads) so an average indian should buy vega or studs better than nothing no still people go for low quality helmets here and can pretty much absorb certain crashes if you are going below hundred ,find your bikes cruising sweet spot ride safe love your life and your bike.i started with rs 200 bought vega ,then updated to r3 and i bought MT now my dream is to go for cbr 650r and buy shoei or agv

I had bought mt thunder 3 XL from Spartan pro gear after measuring my forhead which was showing me to go for XL size.. But after using for few short rides i got proper red compression lines on forhead..
