Lets be real Apple wants you to use the brand how they want you to use it. And Samsung says here it is have fun do what you want with it. I can handle it
Only issue anytime I switch to s ultra is the fringer print is not responsive in some situations esp after putting on screen protector then Face ID doesn’t wrk in a darkness then u end up putting a passcode or pattern. iPhone jx unlocks seemlesly everytime 😊
The only complaint about the s23 ultra is the lack of an SD card.. please CJ can convince Samsung to bring that back.. because the SD card slot is what made samsung stand out from Apple
Best 2 Smartphones now , but S23 Ultra have more features with excellent efficiency as never before , Samsung did a big jump this year because found the correct processor for their hardware.
Don't have the 15pro max yet it's on the way I have the 23u and a 14 pro and I like iPhone it's just works but my 23u just offers way more in customization and notification controls . So I say s23U on mine . Samsung knights unite !!
The s23 ultra is way better and with features like the programmable side key and gaming ,samsung has been able to do those things for years as well as USB C. I have the s23 ultra and it's the best phone ive ever used. Also the s23 ultra has dynamic island, multi tasking , s pen capabilities and emulators w with more games, and 10 x zoom with full clarity etc. However, I just used the 15 pro max today and the camera is impressive and it's very light but still my s23 ultra is more fun to use and also more capabilities and just wait until the z fold 6 ultra is released next year Also with the iphone It can't really multi task, use copy and paste clipboard, run emulators for old school games and new games , use s pen stylus functionality with gestures , download anything from anywhere at anytime, use smart view projection nor anything like DEX projection , wireless powershare which comes in handy when you forget charger , similar charging speeds. Also on ios 17 reaching the control center is harder then my old iPhone 6s and you can't really customize the navigation method to shapes like samsung which isn't necessarily for me . For me I'm a samsung guy but I'll say this iphone 15 pro I give the camera clarity props after testing it but Samsung once I experienced those features I can't live without them
@mentlinc yea I'm hoping thr z fold 6 ultra fixes this, since it should be bigger I think it might . And also yes my s23 ultra has pretty excellent battery especially when it was brand out of box on original one ui
Another great video, CJ! Both platforms offers a beautiful experience, but it depends on what an individual likes. Do they enjoy the freedom to customize or limited customization, but everything works appropriately without interacting? Keep up the great work and be blessed!
I wish more people could see this. That's why we have a choices in the life. I personally don't need any customisation options at all. I choose main phone to be iPhone because there is nothing "extra" I just don't need it. If someone like different themes and change icons and something else just choose Android and job is done. Never understood why people are screaming to other phone user because of his personal preferences
I had a Iphone 14 pro, software IOS16 was to buggy for me, apps froze up on me couple of times, and i got tired of it, so i switched to S23ultra, it has been a smooth ride so far :)
I had a manager/safety meeting at work yesterday, and i was surprised at how many S series that were being used compared to Iphones being used during the meeting. I say it was about 50/50. In the US? Shocked me
Wow really. I been noticing more people are using Samsungs now so it's more of a preference. It's like do want a Camero a mustang or challenger. All are fast but it's which you perfer
IPhone cannot bully the Galaxy line anymore at all. I think the Galaxy has been in the lead since the Gear VR and Gear 360 which was almost 10 years ago!
Started with CJ back with note 8. Still rocking with him with S23 and surprise I’m rocking iPhone 15 PM. I love both an have S23 as main, but I swap things up with PM. In both of their eco systems with different tech and im enjoying it.
I love your reviews bro, keep them up. You keep it 💯 for everybody that watches 🙏🏾 Love that you went more depth into Samsung's ecosystem extending beyond just tablets and laptops. I have a Samsung TV at home, refrigerator and washing machines coming in pretty soon they're all smart and can't wait to extend my ecosystem further with Samsung.
S23 Ultra, between Dex, true multitasking, including Word and Excel,S pen, reverse charge (use it for my watch), smart view....it is an amazing phone. For those that say airdrop....there is NFC and the phone can be linked with Wondows. Also with it's nlue you can link 2 separate speakers and play 2 different songs Also faster charging
Samsung is safe, we already know that it works well for about 8 month's now But the iphone is new we dont know about a software bugs and defects, the iphone literally just got released you dont know what you getting Iphone 14 series had crazy battery degradation problems and s22 had crazy battery drain and overheating issues Dont buy smartphones when they get released you may regret and you already paid full price.
I am glad that you mentioned that some of these drop tests aren’t real world. I feel drop tests just leaves the question of why drop test in my opinion. Of course they are going to crack and scuff when you drop it out of the case. Because of that I don’t watch them.
Shout out to CJ for another unbiased Android vs Apple comparison. Congrats, again, on the 100k + subs. U gotta show off the commemorative plaque RU-vid hit u off with in an upcoming video.
I must say, my Google Pixel Fold is my Entertainment Beast of choice to watch Netflix or NFL or any App when I’m on break or downtime. But since I bought the IPhone 15 Pro Max in Blue Titanium (1 Terabyte) I leave the Fold in the Locker and this thinner and smaller IPhone works better in my pocket. Plus the Screen resolution is better. Everything is better than the IPhone 14 Pro Max I traded in except 14 Pro Max is 2 day Battery Life and the 15 Pro Max is 1.5 to 1 day Battery Life. You can tell the difference once you Own it. Nice sneaky upgrades this year and the Ultra 2 is way better than the Ultra 1 because the CPU makes it officially respond as an additional Iphone
I got both s23 ultra and iPhone 15 pro max I love video out of iPhone but I photos go to s23 ultra portraits I have to give the edge to the iPhone camera functionality I have to give it to the Samsung I primarily use my iPhone file my financial stuff and Samsung for all my business activities
Yourre the best reviewer .. no bias no hyped just llike talking to friend.. Well if you are a content creator who likes to do a video and use dphone for vlogging then use iphone and then choose s23 ultra for the multi tasking
Weight an shape make iPhone15pro max more comfortable to use, but the shape style of s23ultra make it have little more usable screen for video, both good build, s23ultra better all in 1 device for multitasking tweaking power user(dex), iphone 15pro better smartphone for everyday simple reliability and for the multi device ecosystem, definitely 2 different experiences
iPhone has the best video daytime and night and low light video. I own a s23 ultra. I will give a slight edge to Samsung for photos. iPhone still has great photos as well. Samsung is so disappointing they really should be the leaders tho. I believe the s24 ultra will be the same low light video with noise and artifacts as usual 😢
Yea but my s23 ultra can maintain full clarity at 10x and has astrophotography and multi tasking and features the iphone doesn't have and has dynamic island and programmable side key
Overall I'm rocking with the Samsung all day. But I do most of my filming or pictures with the iPhone. In my opinion iphone pictures and videos upload better to social media platforms
Get an iPhone 15 pro max if you've never had an iPhone. I have an s23 ultra but I've also had iPhone 13 pro max and iPhone 14 pro max. Try the one you haven't had and then you'll have your favorite
The S23 Ultra is for sure the best phone I've ever had. I've been an iphone user for the past 6 years and switched back to Samsung when the S23 ultra came out and that was the best decision ive ever made. Deffo won't be he going back to iphones anytime soon. Next big decision for me will be between the Fold 5 and the S24 Ultra
I’ve always been a Samsung guy and use to say that I would never own a IPhone. This year my wife and kids talked me into buying a IPhone and honestly I’m loving the 15 pro max this year.
You fool😂, after the newness goes away you’ll see how boring it really is. I own a 14 pro max 1TB by the way and been using Apple for the past 10 years. But this year am ditching them for s24 ultra.
@@angeloangibeau5814 How am I a fool for switching? Like honestly I’ve never owned a IPhone in my life until this point. It’s cool to me and don’t see myself switching back either.
I honestly had to zoom in, but the 8k video on the s23 is just plain more clear and better looking. Idk if I'll actually record in that unless it's a default, but the capability's certainly there
My very bad experience with the pixel 6 pro for the past 2 years has finally pushed me to try iphone. I just can't decide between the Pro or the Pro Max. Verizon had not gotten their display models yet as of yesterday.
Galaxy. Trust me it's nothing like the pixel an by far better than any apple. Apple is having over heating issues as well right now.. Galaxy you'll have way more fun i promise u that.
@@rajbirsingh8579 I've owned more Samsung phones than Apple phones, but the iPhone fits exactly what I'm looking for in a cell phone. But that's personal. I am satisfied with what the iPhone offers and someone else thinks I am talking nonsense. This is different for everyone.
@@rajbirsingh8579 But the S23 Ultra has more RAM, double SIM card, more adjustments, more settings options, more zoom with the cameras, resolution choices, Dex, split screen, S-pen, third-party apps, etc etc etc. So I didn't use any of this. I don't miss it on the iPhone + what I just wrote about the iPhone made me decide to go for an iPhone.
Let’s be honest iPhones have never been known to have the best battery life with exception of the 13 pm which is still tops lol I doubt we’ll get an equivalent anytime soon
Which is better, not sure until a few months from now but my 14 Pro is still working smoothly. My S23 Ultra is having battery drain issues, that I'm not a fan of.
Just gotta say I was gonna ask about video editing programs... But this sag season lead me right to the video that answers my question and it's ZERO about it in the thumbnail or title🤣 just gotta follow the flow💪💪💪
S23 ultra user and glad I use it, never been interested in iphone. Had the 12 pro max for 6 months and got bored very quickly. Sold it and bought S22 ultra
I got the 13 pro max 2 years ago and now I’m getting the 15 pro max. Coming from a Samsung all my life I actually really like Apple. It’s one of those things where u have to try it out for yourself first
If Samsung makes a suggestion on any parts of there products Apple listens! SAMSUNG is the genius 👌🏽 not Apple! Apple draws diagrams 😂 ok👍🏽! Home work time😢 Great video
The thing with IoS audio is that the sound become distorted when audio is above 80% and Samsung does not change, thanks to Atmos. I'm an audio engineer as well
I use Lossless audio with Apple Music and I don’t experience distortion at high levels. But fun fact in this test I didn’t have to turn the iPhone up as loud as the S23U to get the same volume
15 pro max all day. You hit the nail on the head when you said consistency. And not to mention pro res log and the 5x zoom and high speed usb-c at 10gb transfer speeds are just a photographers/videographer’s dream everyone that isn’t doing real photography or video is sleeping on how good these things are.
I'm late but I'ma call it,... Galaxy! I've used both multiple times for specific reasons. If I had one choice, it'd be the Galaxy. Too many pros for me that's more convenient.
Love the new smaller footprint of the iPhone 15 Max but other then that I'll still take the Ultra because of the software experience, Battery life, and faster charging
@CjKnowsTECH you are my dude, but u just TRIED IT with that Samsung "manufactures" for Apple. NO SIR!, Samsung MAKES OLED screens AND manufactures for Apple. Give Samsung their props please!! 🤔🤦🏾♂️😂🤣
“Though Apple has designed the new displays and devised their manufacturing process, it will likely rely on an outside supplier to handle mass production.” Hey we all know Samsung is display royalty but they also manufacture for A LOT of other companies. Just another side of the business 💰
Prefer the S23 Ultra by quite some distance however, the Apple Watch is king compared to anything android. My circle all have an Apple Watch and fitness+ and it encouraged all of us to push all of us with fitness because once you saw one person pop up having done a session you feel obliged to do so as well. I switched to the S23 Ultra but then went back the iPhone because the second I came away from the watch I didn’t have that fitness circle and started slacking. So the ecosystem and what your friends has does play a big factor. Phone alone, S23u wins. Combined as someone as uses a watch with their phone and circumstances with mates… iPhone takes it. I know you can technically pair an Apple watch with Samsung but that is just a ball ache to me.
The way i see it choosing between these phones.... if you are tech savvy, or simply more adventurous and want to learn, buy the s23, if your knowledge is limited then the ip15 is great. Or to put it another way, if your driving skills are limited dont buy a v12 Ferrari.
I'm thinking about switching to the 15 pro max from the s23 ultra. I love Samsung but there's just some small things I don't like. One of them being where you can't send a video in messages that is longer than like 2 seconds
The 2nd and 3rd ultra selfie better make it to your Tinder 😂❤ Anyway it’s the same every year, the iPhone did slightly better with video while the Ultra did better with photos. I do find it odd ppl called Samsung gimmicky for the power button double tap but Rave about Apples action button 😂😂
Having using S23U since launch, I think it is the best phone in 2023. No overheating, good battery, awesome screen. The best thing is you can buy it with less price than the iPhone 15 pro
