Pro players will say the r99 is better. Actualy his data is wrong at the beginning, r99 has higher dps

I don't know if you are able to hit all your shots the r99's optimal ttk is probably lower than the volt due to the high rpm, but you have to hit all your shots so I think it's a high risk, high reward kinda deal

R-99 is good but I personally like the Volt more

For me, the reason R-99 is better is due to the RPM. If a person performs a quick peek, I'm much more likely to hit multiple shots with the R-99 because it will hit more than once. But with the Volt, the RPM isn't as high and if a person quick peeks I'll likely hit much fewer shots. I've noticed I deal much more damage with the R-99 due to these exact circumstances over the Volt. So, in an instance that a person quick peeks. Volt will land probably one bullet, 16 damage. But the R-99 will likely land two bullets, 11 x 2 = 22 damage. If the gunfight is straight out in the open and there's no quick peeks, the Volts output is greater and will likely win assuming both players hit all their shots. But most gunfights do not happen like that. However, the Volt does seem to have an easier recoil to control over the R-99, this enables the Volt to be useful at greater ranges. But that's not necessary as people usually have a secondary gun anyway. Preference still goes to R-99 for me.

yeah the r99 is overall better than the volt stats-wise, albeit just by a little bit. volt has some advantages over the r99, but the r99 has more advantages over the volt. but in the end, the advantages each gun has over the other are nearly indistinguishable in-game (most notable being hipfire accuracy), so it really just comes down to preference.

@@swiwiws125 nah, the only thing the r-99 has is better fire rate. The dps is lower, the damage is lower, the recoil is worse and the range is lower. There’s 0 reason to pick the r-99 over the volt other than it being amazing for clutches

@@conorobrien5446 nah the alternator is different than the r99, it’s damage is higher but the firerate is much lower, hipfire is kinda better, at one i took the alternator over r99 cause of the longer distance fights that the alternator excels at compared to the r99
