@@KeiinTaiwan When it comes to friendly and hospitable, no one can beat Taiwanese. Just my personal point, I always consider Japanese, especially for younger generation, is a bit aloof, which I got from the experiences of my 7-times trips in Japan.
Taiwan for me, no contest, Food and lifestyle are so much better, you can still live a good life in Taiwan with less money, food is cheap and transport around the island is amazing I love the culture I find it easier to adjust as a foreigner than in Japan, and its also not a foreigner magnet so there are less foreigners to compete with, it checks all my boxes and my wife comes from there, we did not meet in Taiwan we met in my home country. only thing Id say is if you love the snow then instead go to Hokaido
Very nice points of view, Taiwan is a very free country, we respect all the people from different countries. As long as you live here long enough, I believe you will find more interesting facts about Taiwan gradually.

Watching your videos has the best of both worlds. One is can learning English, and the other is knowing Taiwan compared with other countries isn't so bad.

Currently, I put subtitles into RU-vid, and you can pick either English or Chinese, but you cannot see them together. I was wondering what works the best🤔
@@KeiinTaiwan Don't bother to put English and Chinese subtitles together at the same time. I choose English subtitle as I am practicing English listening. As for others who are interested in your videos' contents can switch either Chinese or English. Definitely I am sure I do enjoy your videos.
Correction on winter in Taiwan, especially in Taipei: It actually feels colder here. First of all, we don't have heaters in the house, which makes a mere 20~15 degree cold front feels a lot worse than it sounds. Secondly, older houses that were build in the 80s and 90s (which are the majority here in Taipei) usually lacks proper heat insulation between the walls, since the basic idea was "why add heat insulation when the summer is so hot?" But heat insulation works both ways, as it keeps the cold air out in winter and traps the cooled AC air inside in summer. And without it most houses in Taiwan tends to be hot in the summer while unbearably cold in winter. Taipei's usual damp weather in the winter doesn't make it any better too. Don't let the temperature on paper fool you, it's wiser to prepare some adequate winter cloths and a heat warmer before entering December.

I'm Korean and when I stayed in taipei I suffered by the cold. it was not a winter but at late night temp dropped to 18..it was really cold when I sleep at night. in Korea when the outside temp is 18 still hot inside without any heating. winter in Korea is like -15 degree outside but normally room temp is like 25 with heating inside. I also never thought the temp in taipei could be so cold for me... but it happened to me lol especially on the bed.
I don't think any country is better than the other, but it should be the one that suits your needs better. Because every country has advantages and disadvantages, the key is whether you can adapt..

Thanks for the idea for the future videos〜 Rough estimate is 800-1000 USD/month per person if you live in Taipei City (significant expense is house rent & food). If you live in a more suburban area, it can be cheaper! Hope it helps!
So, you're a US citizen! In that case, it makes sense for you to feel that way. I lived in Florida once, and I know the price out there. Healthcare is roughly 5% of your income every month, which is pretty low (Please check the accurate info on the web). So, if you have health care, you can see a doctor at a very reasonable price. I hope it helps!

Haha, you are the 3rd one who have mentioned about Taiwanese couples (or just young lover) who are willing to show affection in public. Such as, holding eachother's hand while walking in the street or even have a kiss in public some time. that's interesting.
Taiwan is more underrated and for women it's much safer in Taiwan because there are less sexual harrassment and Japan is increasing for many reasons due to bad mental heath.
As a Korean I felt the cost of living in taiwan wasn't that cheap. room I stayed wasn't that good and small but wasn't that cheap If I compare to similar size with similar quality taiwan is 1.5 times expensive than in Korea. and If you compare the restaurant with similar quality. if you go to restaurant with air conditioning in taipei it won't be cheap. Taiwan's grocery and fruits price is quite cheaper which is good but that is not everything for living.(which isn't a big part of daily expenses) I heard most of taiwanese people spend most of their income just for living.

@CCY CCA I guess you live in Taipei where is the most expensive area in Taiwan and because Taipei still has lots of old apartments which are not easy to be renewed and yet still many people need to live in there therefore people think that the cp value is not good enough but if you live in the south area of Taiwan then the situation will be improved a lot. I don't understand Chinese but I can explain street food in Taiwan is cheap but street food in Korea is also cheap but menu of street food is quite limited in Korea. in Korea most of restaurant has air condition with decent interior. if I go to similar restaurant in Taipei it was almost similar price or just a little bit cheaper. drink like milk tea was almost half price of Korea. but most of them were take out only... there are more choices for street food in Taipei but when I go to restaurant price wasn't that cheap. If you start to live in Korea you gonna realize it isn't that expensive to live in Korea. basic things for living is cheaper or almost same.. house electricity water transportation.

Take McDonald's, as an example↓ Breakfast: Pork Manfubao and Egg Set is 3500 won (about 95 Taiwan dollars) Lunch/dinner: Big Mac set meal is 4900 won (approximately NT$134) (2) General street restaurant For general Korean restaurants, the price per person is usually 7000~8000 won (approximately NT$191~219) in the center of Seoul. Of course, there are many cheaper shops, such as the noodles sold , a bowl of only 3,500 won (about 95 Taiwan dollars) When you want to save money or when you’re not hungry, buy a seaweed rice roll for about 3000 won (about 82 NT dollars)
