The fact it brought me back home", in the end of the second verse. "Not to ever forget until I realized I didn't know shit , The day I came home", and so on. It really touches on the realization he had that he never really got to know his history until his rap career allowed him to travel back. He also touches on this subject in the Untitled Unmastered album, but the what gets me every time is his final message in the last line of the last verse on this song, "Then be an advocate go tell your homies especially , To come back home"

My humble opinion is that To Pimp A Butterfly is one of the BEST rap albums ever and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the BEST albums ever period. It gave us hits such as all of the lights and power, it had relevant social commentary that still stands today in gorgeous, it gave us Nicki's best verse it gave us Rick Ross best verse, it gave us the legendary short movie and it' legendary track runaway. I mean come on!!!
