Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

PREACH IT BROTHER!!! The only reason I got him was because My local store that sells opened and unopened figures from anything from the 80's until now. And I bought him at shelf price $36 had the owner knew the difference between the figures when he buys out collections it would have been $75 or higher. That's also where I finally found ROTB Scourge which Never hit our shelves here in north Alabama. Both came from a single person's collection and literally all he did with them was turn them into their vehicle mode and displayed them like that. Blew My mind it still had the brand new smell! I hope you have finally gotten one by now because I know this is an old video.

I do hope the colors are different if it comes out because if the Optimus is tha same it'll take away the value the Buzzworthy one has.

6:29 I have to point this out: that's paint. The mid-section sides and crotch piece is made of blue plastic thanks to the molding and painted over in that pearl gray. You can see the blue peaking through from the wheel hinges at 7:20. Same case of the grill like you pointed out, being casted in blue then painted over in red and silver.

@@omegamaximus1727 because Hasbro sucks ass when it comes to their distribution, especially with exclusives like SS 102 Optimus Prime. and apparently from what I’ve read on Hasbro Pulses comments on ROTB Prime, there was a slight restock for him on the 30th of last month… but of course, it sold out… again.

The back of ss102 can be explained the figure was on a remold budget it was supposed to only be a slight remold of ss 38 but the designers sought to make it as close to the movie as possible so they compromised the on vehicle mode if they had a larger budget they prob would’ve made adjustments to the back of the truck that’s also why Primes axe comes with Primal

25:18 I didn't want to add this to my already very long comment but yiu transformed ROTB Optimus a little wrong. The panels yiu said look ugly next to the smokestacks rotate down and the little peg on Optimus' shin plugs into the groove on the panel. Just wanted to let you know.

I have the bmb version and plan to eventually get the rotb version just for the sake of having both and being able to compare the two and formulate my own opinion because the only place that has a clear cut objectively true answer to which one is better is the vehicle mode. However, from the looks of it, the rotb one has a lot of places where its slightly better, some places where its tied, and one or two places that are slightly worse, but the few places that are way worse are *way* worse. The rotb one also has some parts that confuse me, such as the hot rod shoulders, which never fail to bring endless huh??? factor when implemented on anyone that isn't hot rod, or how the entire back piece is blue plastic painted red. That, and I highly doubt that Hasbro was being truthful when they said that the windows and wheels were the only things yoinked from the bmb version.

FYI, those panels that you said were pretty ugly on the ROTB truck mode actually l\flip down BEFORE YOU CLIP THE ARMS IN. The really do help to secure those shin panels into place.

I had a bit of trouble with getting SS 102. Because all the targets in my area suck, so I pre ordered it instead of getting it at retail. I was supposed to get it August 2-7 but because so many people ordered it, it got delayed to August 22, which is fine. When it was the 22nd, it was delayed again to the 29th, getting annoying now. When it was the 29th, it got cancelled for whatever reason

So happy you did this comparison. Your Bayverse original toy vs Studio Series videos are some of your best so I was looking forward to your comparison between these Optimus'. I definitely think Rise Of The Beasts is the superior figure. Love that Robot mode so much. Truck could be better but I only display my Transformers in Robot mode so the truck doesn't bother me that much. I'm a person who likes when the vehicle mode has some sacrifices msxe for the robot mode, like the legs. The truck suffers for it, but they look much better in Robot mode in my opinion. Great video 👍

Honestly I can't stand the ROTB truck mode. I WANT to like it sooooo bad, but I can't. There's just always a new problem with it. The back is atrocious, no side mirrors, that hinge that cuts through the side windows, the top isn't color matched, the grill isn't complete, the smoke stacks are too long, it's just... Pain. The only thing it has going for it is that it's a licensed FLA, which is GREAT. But the ball just completely dropped.

Umm, SS-38 is very inaccurate? It's accurate to the concept art that the RoTB was based on, but it is a farcry from the finalized design seen in Bumblebee.

SS38 has a better truck mode. SS102 has a better robot mode. I like them both. But I prefer robot mode than truck mode. I prefer better articulation. So for me I prefer SS102

both are great but i def prefer the new buzzworthy one. the bumblebee one has probably the best truck mode of all mainline primes. however, i got the go better upgrade kit for the buzzworthy prime which imo is a must have because it makes the legs and especially the truck mode infinitely better.

I love the bumblebee movie version so much but I just wish it had less kibble like the rotb one. I also kinda don’t like the rotb head sculpt although, I guess I could swap the heads like you showed. ( if I get the rotb one 😂)

I'm getting the ROTB version for my birthday (in 2 days) and although I don't have either of the toys as of rn, the back of the truck on the rotb version doesn't really bother me. Videos n stuff sometimes do make things look either better or worse than how they are in person imo (example, SS Scourge: The neck and things like the back of the truck and holes in the side of the truck don't bother me as much as they used to when I was watching reviews on it so see if I should get it or not)

In my opinion, though ROTB Optimus Prime's truck mode is not as clean as Bumblebee Prime's truck mode, it is still a lot better. I know Bumblebee Prime is from 5 years ago, but that doesn't change anything, the new Prime is more scale accurate, has better articulation, has a better head sculpt, and has a better truck mode despite its flaws. I'm glad to own Bumblebee Optimus only because the ion blaster he comes with is better than ROTB Prime's accessories.

TBH, I would have split the arms. Like shoulder and forearm. Since imo, BB Optimus has better shoulders and then ROTB Optimus has the better forearm.

102 is the most movie-accurate Rise of the Beasts Optimus in both robot & truck mode. Not to mention that he comes with movie-accurate weapons, while the Mainline Voyager doesn't.

The SS 102 is getting more intriguing for me. Mostly because of the robot mode and posability. I didn't really want it cuz my SS 38 is enough (and holds sentimental value since I got it for my birthday), however it's beginning to show it's age, the silver paint is just gone and I need to fix his hips however the screw head is destroyed, so if I find this figure I mind as well get it.

If I wanna get a tf figure I always want it to be the best in both modes and while ss102 is absolutely amazing in robot mode and articulation wise it's one of the most posable transforming figures I've ever owned only 2nd to optus pexus... The truck mode is unable to be excused in any way So for my money I'd rather get ss38 which I did get

These things are both overhyped as hell And to explain ROTB Prime’s back in truck mode. It was originally supposed to just be a slight retool of SS38 until somehow the design team basically made it a new toy. So considering it wasn’t supposed to be a complete new toy, they didn’t have the required budget to fix up the truck bed. I don’t even know how they afforded to make the upper body as different as it is at all

I have a Ko bbm optimus, got him off Temu with ten other things for seven bucks, managed to get bbm prime for free. And honestly. For me even though it's a Ko, it's leagues better than ss102 bot mode looks great, yeah they could've hidden the kibble a bit better but I don't honestly care, Vehicle mode is great, its accurate to real life trucks for the most part looks Way better than SS 102 articulation could be better but I'm not gonna complain sense I got it for free pretty much. I'm not going get a good prime with a mid vehicle mode Especially if it's an exclusive. The only Target exclusive things I'm fine with is the Hg Gundam breaker battolouge kits.

Studio Series Bumblebee still the best figure in both modes. The ROTB figure truck mode really sucks due to its uncleaned back.

In many ways, I prefer the Bumblebee Movie version, but in others, the Buzzworthy Prime ain't bad. Posablilty and over all bot mode goes to Buzzworthy, transformation and truck mode goes to Bumblebee Movie. I still don't like Buzzworthy's shoulders though, waiting for the DNA kit to fix all that, that kit will probably make him an easy 9-9.5 out of 10.

Me personally, I only saw Bumblebee recently, and was extremely disappointed. The movie fans call “the good one” was just the same garbage i’d expect from Michael Bay. So I have more of an attachment not to the Bumblebee design, but the old Studio Series toy specifically? So i like that one more

it pains me to say Bee movie is better and shame the only one rise of the beasts toy Im not buin is the one I wanted the most, so no Im not gettin rotb studio series optimus, maybe on clearence but that wont happend in my country. And there is no excuse for that like many fans would say, like no one will be displayin it in vehicle mode, but still that is half of the toy, if you dont care for vehicle mode, then why even bother to buy one. Just stick with the yolo part or whatever the name was and stop protecting this toy. This is grandious fail on HASBROs side. And in my country this will cost like 50€,and if I want it to be delivered from another country its gonna cost even more, for uncompleted toy, FOR A TOY. stupid plastic with joints. So no to studio series rise of the beasts optimus prime.

Rotb prime here has a lot of paint, just not in the right areas. The grill piece and mid section are cast in blue plastic and painted over in red and silver on the grill and pearl gray and yellow in the torso. Probably an oversight in the gang molding, but oh well.
