@@cassandra_lord Probably how extensive and complex the transportation system is. I think it would take me several months to understand it. But it’s very convenient!
711 IS SO GOOOD! On my first trip to Japan, I was always too tired to go to an actual restaurant by the end of the day. Majority of the time, I ended up going to 711 for dinner, and 1000 yen is more than enough to fill yourself up! Plus I always grabbed an egg sando every morning. 😋
Hahah that's the blessing and the curse of Japanese convenience stores! They're so easy and tasty, sometimes it's hard to make yourself go anywhere else!
Cassandra, that was not only informative but also very entertaining! If you ask a clerk at a conbini what is good today, would they give you an honest answer?
I'm so glad you think so! I think that just depends on the staff, though honestly they'd likely be confused by the question. You could try asking "when was this fried?", but again, I don't think many people ask that in English much
Thank you!! Developed economy doesn't always mean expensive currency though! The British pound had a terrible time last year for example. Anyway, don't question it, just take advantage of it and have a good time when you visit for less money!
They're all a little different, but not a lot. Hakone will be the coldest in the mornings and evenings, so bring warm pyjamas. Right now it's still hitting high 20s (celsius), so it will probably still be relatively warm during the day but cooler at night. So sweaters and jackets will do for night, jeans and a t-shirt for the day!
