I just bought some Auxito bulbs today. I love my lasfit but 2 out of the 4 I bought stopped working at 100% after close to a year. So that’s why I bought the auxito. They’re much cheaper so if I don’t like them, I won’t cry for too long.
I've had bad experience with Auxito. I think it very much depends on the reflector/housing you have them in. I have had LASFit fail early as well though. I think LASFit are overdriving the LED's to make them brighter and it shortens the life, as it was always LEDs failing, not the driver failing.
Just checking in….how are they holding up after several months of use? I purchased a set of law fit lc plus ones for my order of a 2022 ram 1500 big horn. Thanks
I am watching this now. What model Lasfit was it? Does the AuxBeam have adjustabl/rotatable led fixture? That could correct the issue of not matching the reflector well. I've used LasFit LA+ before, unfortunately one of them died after 5 years and I had to replace them. I replaced with Philips, but the Philips were hopeless compared to Lasfit. Same wattage, but half the brightness
Auxbeam f16 plus are the brightest best focused light I've ever owned. Compared them to morimoto 2 stroke 2.0 and they destroyed the morimoto is comparison
Hey man I have a 15’ eco boost. I’m about to pull the trigger on led headlight bulbs. Just wanted to check in, in your opinion is the F150LED’s still the best bulbs? Are they worth the money? How do they compare to the bulbs you’ve been testing for this truck?
They are definitely the brightest out of all the bulbs, the group at f150leds are by far the best with customer support, the low/hi beams have now been in there just over a year now and no issues so to me definitely great bulbs with all of that. Now worth the money....I can't say that they are worth the hundreds they cost, I would not pay it but I'm also cheap lol I have no problem buying bulbs that cost less and do last even if I have to end up replacing sooner(which dont know more than a year on any bulb) , itd still be less than one set of f150leds. If your between bulbs, f150leds are the brightest. Lasfit is next then auxbeam and beamtech. Had no issues with any of them.
False. It’s there because the led chipset isn’t perpendicular to the projector lens refraction point. After 17 years of working in the luxury automobile industry, the “Stepped so you don’t blind oncoming cars” claim is BS. Properly designed projector lens headlamps should produce a dead flat cutoff.
Because OEM’s don’t give a damn about how it performs with halogens let alone take the time to align the projector lens with the refractors in the housing in a base model application. Time is money and if they’re selling it cheaper, you’re getting cheaper. Might even be able to flatten that beam out... with a LED bulb that will rotate inside the flange 🤔
