Great video with buttery-smooth edits. 😉 I wasn't even aware of the Mophie, which for a non-iPhone guy, seems really flexible with the inductive and USB charging for any phone or accessory. Plus the slim profile is nice. And the price is right. Thanks for another cool video, David! (And sorry you didn't get Apple stickers with your Apple charger! That was humorous... 😜)

Great vid! Do you edit on FCP, if so what plugins do you use for the split screens & transitions?

Was able to cop the apple one for 80, and even though the small capacity, I love the software integration and the rounded edges make it really comfortable to hold. Especially with a 13 mini.

Using the Mophie mini with iPhone13Pro, how strong is the magnetic hold with the gap with the camera bump? And do you think it would affect the charging efficiency? I.e If you’re prepared to accept the imperfect fit, could it still be a practical option for 13pro? Thanks

Hello! The hold with the gap significantly reduces the strength of the magnet. Charging is unaffected. In my opinion since you will be holding the charger, it will slip out more often than not especially if you just hold by the battery. I can see someone totally using this everyday but this would be always a problem if you decide to fit the mophie charger onto your 13 pro. Hope this helps!

Hello! I currently do have the 622 and if I can summarize it up, it’s basically the anker power core 5k in a new body. I also noticed that Anker did bump up the charging speed as well so it should have better efficiency than the old one. Thanks for watching the video!

Good thing about the apple battery pack is it’s stuck to my iPhone. I can shake it off as hard as I can and it will stay on. My Mophie battery pack it’s heavy and it comes off with a couple shakes

Apple's devices work very good with each other but their battery pack is just a peice of junk wtf is 1000ish mAh for 100? And why most of other battery packs charge only at 7.5 W while magsafe allows up to 15Watts ?

Yeah basically, it’s definitely something that’s nice to have on you especially on day trips like to Disneyland or a road trip. This is not something you keep for the amount of battery life it gives you. For that I’d rather have a bigger battery pack, for these you’re just paying for the convenience of having it attached via MagSafe. Hopefully you enjoyed the video! 🤗

You can buy some 20000 or even 30000 mAh power banks with fast charge 18w cables(not wireless) with like 30 or 40 bucks which make me wonder why buy those??

I think it’s the convenience factor of them. A small battery that attaches on the back of your phone and that you can carry in your pocket is appealing to some. Different strokes for different folks!

@@SideofTech yes i can agree but the slow charging speed make that "convinience" inconvenient this year xiaomi flooded the markets with some great high speed power banks that can go up to 60w fast charge and big 20000mh capacity with great competitive prices and medium quality

I totally agree, the amount of charge you get and speed outperform most magnetic battery packs tenfold. But as an everyday user, you have to consider how much you’re willing to carry in your pockets and I know that carrying a cable everyday is a huge inconvenience for some but for those who don’t really care about carrying a separate battery and cable, more power to them! Again it’s how you choose to use your products is what’s most important, the more options we have, there better it is for us as a whole 😇

In my experience though if you use apple products only, the battery and the phone itself lasts more years. It’s incredible that one friend of mine is using his iPhone 6s as his second phone using apple chargers ect. Making his phone lasts so much with an incredible 72% battery health. Now he will change the battery. So yeah I prefer paying much for the quality and liability than the bigger and cheaper battery pack.

Nice. Yeah thankfully Apple does support most of their older phones and 72% battery life is pretty good even though Apple throttles their older phones. Definitely beats spending over 1000 for a new one!

@@SideofTech oh I got a mophie one and sent it back in 2 days. It was overheating my phone while charging and the mophie was too. Sticking to the portable battery with cable charger

@cr1m1nalspeed yeah, wireless magnetic chargers do get really hot. Portable charger with cable is always the best and it gives you more capacity!
