The sad thing was at least in the uk(not sure if the book was changed in the USA) it was buttermilk not cream so link was wrong even with how sure he sounded!
Yes, it was buttermilk in the Charlotte's Web books in Canada. I think Link just remembered it looked like cream from the movie. I read it before it became a move . . . definitely buttermilk 👍
aw Link is running on all cylinders this year. Not that Good Mythical hasn't been in the past, but every episode this year Link has got me laughing hysterically. I am in great need of it i guess. But Rhett & Link are just a gift from the universe to us all. I just know for a fact my regular routines would not be as fun if i did not watch these power houses at play on a daily. Thanks for the fun & also the mythical crew for making it happen, again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again & again...💘
This reminds me of the "Will it Corndog?" episode where Rhett stopped link from taking another bite of the Eggnog corndog because he didn't want him to "create any GIFs". Well, no need for that when you got heavy cream, apparently.
goat milk and cheese are fantastic. not all goat cheese is like the chevre you see in stores. cheddar made with nubian goat milk is great and not really "goaty"
My mom used to make goat's cheese and it STANK. She never believed me and my dad, but we would leave the house because it smelled like a goat everywhere.
@@meddafour7289 Its male goat hormones. If you separate the males/females you end up with cheese that doesn't have the funk. People expect the funk so they aren't separated.
My boyfriend and I have seprate milks in our fridge. I do oat (and almond when I can't get oat) mostly for my coffee, I make iced lattes with it. My boyfriend has whole. I'm lactose intolerant but we both drink eachothers sometimes.
I love it so much when rhett turns the wheel to gifticality his face was everything I wonder if link knows he does that I would love to see link catch him doing that one time it would be so funny
You guys should do an episode to see if you can tell the difference between milk brands. Like the grass fed ones, the regular ones, and see if the price difference actually changes the taste. I would love that
Fun fact goat milk only tastes like a barn yard when it's been pasturized, if you drink fresh goat milk it's really good and doesn't taste like a barn yard.
Thanks for these milk episodes, I became lactose intolerant after turning 35, and I've been looking for alternatives for my cereal, hot & cold drinks, and cookies.
This is the bit that always gets me. For us here in Australia, we don’t just drink cream. We whip it and pour it but we don’t drink it like milk. So I don’t count it in the lineup. Wilbur was bathed in milk. He was given a buttermilk bath before going to the fair. I remember that well in our little VHS version of the movie. He got his little buttermilk bath and then he went to the fair all pale pink and cute.
@@riversongsmelody oh, I was led to believe that was what happened. Bad interpretation on my part. … why thicken your coffee with cream? Wouldn’t milk be better?
We rarely buy milk unless we are getting cereal or baking…we get 2% usually, but I’d rather buy alternatives it’s just too expensive. I can get a half gallon at Kroger on sale for $0.87 and have a coupon a lot of the time.
Thus makes me think of a childhood fieldtrip to a dairy. Everyone got a sample of fresh milk and it was pretty strong tasting, pretty sure only adults finished the sample!🤣
We get Whole and occasionally Almond Vanilla or Chocolate for my eldest kiddo when he gets a craving. I'll sometimes get Lactaid milk because cow milk turns me into a train wreck. 😅
I have to have whole milk in the winters, to beat the winter blues and get 2% for the warmer months, but I prefer whole all the way and half and half as a treat once in a while.
Our household does lactose free milk because 2/3 of us are lactose intolerant. 2% for the grown ups and whole milk for the kiddo. It’s definitely sweeter than regular milk. According to my husband.
on the topic of houses being split by milks, my partner and I both love soy milk. that's the only milk we keep in the house and we use it in cooking, coffee, etc
One of the reasons I'm adverse to milk is because of the got milk campaign. In my elementary school unless you had a medical issue they MADE you have a milk carton with your lunch or they wouldn't let you buy lunch.
