Those are actually quite good. You give up all the other manufacturer coverage for some bidirectional capability for the vehicle you choose. In your case Hyundia.

Very cool scanners! For an amateur like myself the wireless one that uses the phone as the scanner looks most appealing given price point. Noob question here, can people reset mileage on a car with one of these, should I be concerned when buying a used car? 😅

Thanks for the comment, and excellent question. The more expensive ones can change your mileage, and yes you should be concerned when buying a used car. Its very important to look at service records collected over the years as a shop will record the mileage when they do the work for warranty purposes. Carfax helps as well. But there are people that change the mileage on their cars now that the more expensive ones (about $1000) can do the mileage change.

Do you if any of these scanners will read ride height sensors and reset/relearn ride height on 2019 c7z? Abs and suspension control modules?

That's a good question, I checked the Pro3S+ Elite and Pro TT, and there is a service function for "Air Level Calibration" (I know the C7Z does not have air ride. But I went into the app and it says its for adjusting the ride hight. I went in under vehicle coverage and 2019 corvette was there. The others I don't think so.

You mention that all we may need is a simple scanner like the Pro 3S (14:39), but that unit is over $1400.00 on Amazon. I don't think that is aa simple scanner.

The video only goes to 14:24 so you must have the time stamp wrong. In any case if I said that I misspoke and meant a simple scanner or code reader when they were laid out. The Pro 3S is an expensive scanner and not simple. Sorry about that

@@GarageKing My bad on the time stamp. The way you explained things at the end, I got the impression you were stating that the Pro 3S was a basic scanner. The Pro 3S is an incredible tool but way out side my price range

@@InCountry6970 No worries at all, and you are right, the Pro 3S is at the top, where the basic tool was the code reader on the other side. My bad if I wasn't clear enough. Glad we are on the same page !!
