The way you feel about Fallout 76, is the same way I feel about Dragon Age inquisition. What a god-awful game, and was when I realized BioWare was gone completely.

Man, this will be a tough one to predict until we see something from ES 6. I think that Dragon Age is losing and losing bad. Even graphics didn't look that impressive. The atmosphere seems off, game is way too cartooney. Trailer made me wonder if this is a mobile game and if it is even Dragon Age at first. The only thing I really liked was that the companions kinda sounded good and into it, even though it did seem that lip sync is a bit off. They should have shown mid game combat too, cuz early one looks way too weak, but then again it's lvl 0 and 1 XD. Idk DA is not looking good right now at all to me. Maybe next gameplay videos will be better. One can only hope. I wanna play a good game not go into it thinking it's shit. I don't think Bethesda can mess ES as much as Bioware can mess up DA 4. Starfield was excrement, but it was a new IP, too. FO 4 was not that good storywise, but was fun to play. For now my prediction is that DA will be worse, but until I see something from ES6, my prediction can easily shift.

That's a tough call, both of these companies have dove in head first for diversity hiring priorities, and activists writers. Their talent pool is gone. I fully expect this to play like it was written by a Kotaku discord.... Bioware developers seem to be invapable of cretaion.. Theyre chasing trends, which is why DA changes so drastically. All their passionate developers/writers have left the company, and its been PAINFULLY obvious, for their last 3 releases

I think your a little hard on Fallout 3 and Skyrim for me I found them to be fantastic. I do agree Oblivion and Fallout 4 are kind of subpar (also didn't finish fallout 4) One thing I would add is why did they pic the Breton area its easily the most generic choice. One the reason Morriwind is so beloved is it incredibly unique setting. For me literally any other land they haven't already done would have been more interesting. For Veilgaurd I don't see much hope for it, but one, If they really go into the choose your own adventure like for example your race and faction or class start you of in a completely different area and everyone will have different playthrough beginning middle and end. For me that give it a useful niche in exchange for the decreasing Rpg and tactical aspects of the game.

My prediction: Dragon Age 4 will suck major dirty ass and Elder Scrolls 6 will be mediocre at best

Lots of things I could say that would just get bogged down in the comment quagmire here, but after playing video games for 35 years, this is by far the worst time to be a gamer. I have never been so disillusioned as I am now.

I already know that Veilguard is going to be a steaming pile of DEI shite. I have not heard anything about Elder Scrolls 6, but with the trend of the past 4 years I would not be surprised if they ruined that too. I pretty much gave up any expectations for modern games.

Whenever the elder scrolls game comes, guaranteed it will be buggy, graphically hit and miss, and will need patches and a community to get it to the best state. But.. it will be honest to the lore, and kept very much an elder scrolls game. However, EA being EA, have taken the core element of turn based strategy and thrown it out of the window for action only. They have gone for the 'standard' world of warcraft / fortnite aesthetics. Its aimed at a certain younger generation demographic. They will probably steam ahead with the woke stuff, im nit holding out for deeply connected and interwoven storylines. Its not really going to have any core links to the original games at all. EA destroy everything they touch. So, bar being upset by bethesda probably using updated creation engine, which is woeful in 2024/5/6, they wont mess up ES6. Dragon age, imo, unless your about 12 to 18 yrs old its not going to go well.

If you like western style RPGs, we’ll have to rely on indie studios or some Japanese studio to adapt and adopt it. Triple A western studios hate RPGs except for the worst parts (the grinding and collecting.)

Never cared for anything bethesda did as you said BG & DAO occupied a higher place than there games , so since i don't have time or money to waste on both companies games i moved on .

Dragon age will suck more. TES6 will probably be technically ancient, but with all these things we liked (and didnt like) in previous Bethesda games, so probably good exploration, decent worldbuilding, bad story. Dragon age will be DEI driven trash. Both will not be good, but TES6 will be at least decent.

TES6 will be decent experience after installing 150 gb modpack and skipping main quest entirely, just like Skyrim. But there's possibility that it won't be as moddable, because starfield already stretched possibilities of their shitty engine to the maximum. I'd be more optimistic towards BGS if they kicked Emil Paglarioulos (or whatever his name is spelled) and hired anyone with 3 digit iq as their lead writer :) Dragon age looks like overwatch with swords lmao, bioware is just a name there's 0 OG devs there. Tbh I was never big fan of DA:O it was just OK game, 2 was legit one of the worst games i've beat and Inquisition was perfectly mediocore offline mmo, beat it also coz there was like 0 interesting games when it was released.

I think to Dragon Age will suck. The time ES6 will come out they will learn the lesson and Tod will wake up because it will be his own company at the end of the road. Things are changing in a favor of the gamers but currently the bad is still on the way. But lot of devs waked up from the wokeness and political argenda. We will see but it's also possible that both is destined to fail.
