The Eldrazi is a bit annoying to see again. But the energy I think is fine because it really needs more support. Madison Li helped but she felt more like artifacts with energy payoff, like you could play a full artifact set w/o energy and she still be a fine commander if you wanted Jeskai.

And I'm betting the MH3 Eldrazi deck will have mostly the same cards from the CM Eldrazi deck. Similarly to how most of the CM Enchantmet deck cards reappeared in the Wilds of Eldraine precon.

My thought is; 1- Eldrazi, 2- Jund, 3- energy, 4- simic. This is because Eldrazi are Eldrazi, the jund one seems interesting with the lhurgoyf kindred stuff, energy just got a precon so a second one will just make it better, and the simic one will probably still get buys, but depending on what it does, might or might not gain interest. Also, Ulalek is colorless/WUBRG, not 2/WUBRG.

If you are just playing commander and not a competitive format. You should look into your LGS attitude towards proxies. I just printed 238 high quality nearly indistinguishable minus clear proxy marking, proxies for $70. It is honestly going to become my main way of getting cards. It lets me run all the stuff I want to run for around 25 cents per card. I brew my deck at a powerlevel I want to play at and then print what I need with the art I want. Wotc has gotten so money hungry that I am sick of it. I have played for a decade and spent thousands of dollars into the hobby. I am done with it and many others are too now that it is easy to print proxies on s33 cardstock with a high res printer through a cheap producer. Either way it is just ink on paper. Game pieces to be played with.

i disagree. that would mean you have to specifically colorfix to "wastes", which admitedly is one of the easier colorfixes to do with mana rocks and such, it also means you can't use any basics or "produce any color" mana effects. i feel like producing 5 colorless is only mildly easier than producing 10 generic

I’d run it as 5 color definitely and put in all talismans and the dual lands that ping you for 1 for colored or use for colorless. To me it’s much easier to cast being able to be like okay 3 colorless (from ramp or utility lands) with exotic orchard and command tower. Like you can run all that shit it’s bonkers. You prolly don’t even need the talismans and run land ramp and you’ll be fine but your able to just scoot on by with only 3 colors and just utility lands (urza ones specifically) instead of 5 colors, mana fixing is wayyyy easier.

@@redwolfmatt there are lands that can tap for {C} AND colored mana. Painlands, SHM filterlands. The panoramas also make colorless or fetch the basic you need. Plus, Sol Ring & friends exist.

So if we talking out the box level: Simic landfall: 2 colors means mana base less brutal, green gives ramp, plenty of strong and cheap landfall cards that could be included that will make it go hard and fast. Jund Em: Reanimation, green ramp, black for strong removal/wipes, red will have draw/discard effects for fuel. Energy: This is based off 1 leak: energy dual lands. If those are in the precon then it will have a solid manabase I think. Beyond that not too sure where to place power Eldrazi: i think the 5 color is gonna screw ghe Eldrazi deck at a precon level. There not too many mana fixing rocks, and you know how bad 5 color land base can be (looking at you slivers) but unless we get a mana fixing eldrazi (like how slivers got manaweft) then that color spread will be their undoing.

Personally I am the most interested in the eldrazi one. I've been wanting to make an eldrazi commander deck, but couldn't bring myself to do it cause I always felt it was missing some support and didn't really have any eldrazi commander i wanted to build around. If these leaks are true, both issues have been solved. Omo definitely seems like a decent card, but more like something I'd include in the 99 as a tool, rather than a commander. Not that she can't function as a commander, she obviously can, but there are multiple cards I'd use as my commander instead of her for the same purpose.

yeah regarding the energy deck.. the seller I bought my deck at lists the simic and jund deck for 50 euro, eldrazi for 100 but not available... and the jeskai energy currently is for 40 euro at sale... nobody seems to want that

By the time most of us get around to buying these, those who have bought and used these "premium sets", will either make your pod get sick of it cuz theyre that good/annoying (graveyard & eldrazi) or they will want it even more, rising the price.

I see te 4th rising to about $70-$80 before dropping off to $60. The simic one will rise to around $80-$90. The graveyard will reach near $100 and stay for there for a while. And the Eldrazi will definitely be over $100 for a long while.

I had Spreading Plague in my original devoid deck. Another one you could also put in is Mana Maze, players can't play spells that share a color with the last spell played this turn.

There's two versions for the Eldrazi Incursion face commander "Ulalek" floating around. One appears to be the return of credit card commanders (the thick display version), and another has a Commander Masters-esque side profile art. The mana cost appears to be either 5 colorless and/or WUBRG (hybrid mana) and they're a 2/5. So far it looks legit since wizards spoiled actual side-profile artworks in MH3.

predicted demand order (from highest to lowest): 1. Eldrazi 2. Graveyard overdrive 3. Tricky terrain 4. Creative energy Maybe Tricky terrain could be second. I preordered Tricky terrain and Creative energy. Im hyped to upgrade the Energy deck with the new cards from fallout. I think the combination of ETBs and combat triggers could be huge with the new Energy commander. And the simic commander could be fun/strong with changelings as well as land types

My Jund deck is already Goyf Tribal (actually it's Nightmare-Goyf Tribal), and has been for more than a decade. It has gone through so many changes over the years, but I'm definitely going to have to pick up the new pre-con and add on. Maybe I'll just split it into two decks, because I love my Nightmares (basically it is all the creatures that have power/toughness equal to the number of lands/swamps/forests I control).

The Eldrazi deck was available for pre-order at the same time as the others (they've been available on Amazon for 2 months now). The Eldrazi deck started at ~$70 like the others. Over the last two months the price has steadily increased, so I'm assuming their initial pre-order limit has been reached.

Premium set my ass it cost Wizards the same amount of money to print ink on cardboard as it does for any other set or card, all cards should be the same.. that common that cost .01 cost as much as that 100 Rare does to make. I got tired of wizards crap, why I proxy everything. I can afford the cards just don't see the reason too to play a casual commander, If they where a reasonable price id rather buy them.

I first got into magic around the time eldrazi started invading innistrad, and back then I was immediately hooked onto everything about them. Seeing the ways they are getting love lately with the zhuludok deck and now these is resparking the fun I had in the early days. I just hope how obviously "villainous" and disgusting the new abilities are doesn't make it the deck everyone says no to playing

So it's my opinion eldrazi, then simocs, then energy justki, and Jund. My favorite hands down is Jund the box commander I don't think of her but Undertaker I am a fan of. So I don't like that they don't have MSRP and I am worried about finding it. I like your art work for disa the Restless more then the actual one. Tarmogorf tokens seems neat but like I just don't think it's going to do much in edh tribal still fun though.

Eldrazi bros eating good this year. So if i have Ulalek on the field and cast Emerkul Promised end, do I take over two turns? If I choose the same opponent twice do I take 2 of their turns in a row because Emerkul gives that opponet an extra turn. The first of which I would take over so would they essentially have 3 turns in a row.

My rankings go Simic, WUBRGC. Jund, Jeskai. If I’m honest, all 4 decks are in some of my favorite color combos and I like them all… but if I had to pick a favorite I think it would be simic. If Thassa, Deep Dwelling is not in the precon I would swap something out immediately for it.

I am rooting for the simic commander super hard. There’s just sounds like a lot of ways to build her, and there’s gonna be diversity because of it. Somebody might put in a domain package, another might build a lords tribal trying to make all of your creatures get the craziest buffs from other lords, and some people could put in really silly cards that are green that say “if you control a mountain and a swamp, do this thing” I think it’s gonna be really awesome.

I found like their going to upcharge the price of the. Once they start to leak more cards of the decks also hopefully this eldrazi deck actually reprint that least one of the other titans i also feel like some people are preordering thinking that they'll actually put fetchlands in them juice and them call me in a pre-owned product which I'm okay with $70 for like the universe beyond ones cuz that's play license fees but $70 for precon is a bit much especially after the last time they did an eldrazi one it was barely even about one eldrazi which was weird due to it being called eldrazi unbound

In my area of Canada, you can buy the 4 decks for $300 CDN ($340 ish with tax) and that's before they inevitably jump up in price once we see decklists. Each deck only has 13 brand new cards, it really doesn't sound worth it to me. I bought the Fallout decks for $280 CDN (before they jumped up in price to $320), and those had 37-41 brand new cards, not to mention every reprint was given new art to match the theme. Lets not forget that the DrWho decks had 50 new cards each, LotR decks had 20 each (plus additional 4 to 7 cards from the draft set), and Warhammer had 42 new cards each.

They can say it’s a higher price point because it’s a “premium product” but they’re the only ones buying into it. If they acknowledge the secondary market, then they also acknowledge that this is overpriced. That’s why they’re $199 for all 4 from most major suppliers and $230 from TCG.

The eldrazi are boring, but might have interesting cards for colorless commanders (that are also not eldrazi). The energy counters commander is fine, can be powerful, but I hoped for a more interesting commander. I actually love Disa and specially Omo.

The reason they don't have an MSRP is so wizards can get as much money out of them that they can, and not a penny less. Its a predatory tactic that I feel hurts our local game stores the most. Having to buy these at high prices to then trying to sell them for a small profit or at least break even on due to everyone else trying to buy them for as little as possible.

I think precons should be a flat $25 again. And premium product precons should be a flat $45-50. WotC is being predatory with their pricing and underhanded tactics with commander decks and secret lair drops.

@@DKODA97 even still compared to what the others do just making a creature all types in of itself is not great and requires a lot of moving parts to make the most of so not also needing the commander to hold it all together would help a lot with the idea of what the deck ones, especially in just 2 colors which is very limiting for your tribal goals

@@paintingwithatwistphiladel2538 it puts a counter on a Land and Creature on ETB, thats pretty powerful when you build for it, considering what some lands can do. You shouldn't have issue ramping or keeping her on the field in those colors
