the reason it looked like hash was because it was zoomed in . With all the channels off it will zoom into the one channel. If you look you will see the signal was the same. It showed 0 to 12 volts because it scaled the unused channels into the capture. if all your signals were within one volt of each other you would have a small Y axis thus zooming into the waveforms to the point the hash was very noticeable.
@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics Thank you. Love your ECM videos. Not many people skilled enough to do board level ECM repair. That skill will only become more and more valuable the way the industry is going.
The ATS scopes share 1MS/s with all channels enabled, whether they are used, or not. You have the scope set to use 4 enabled channels. Set the scope for a single channel and increase the sample rate by 4X.
Nicest way to measure this sensor is to measure it against battery positive ( if signal is in the feedwire) but not every scope has differential inputs so be careful with that. I use Tiepie gmto scope and that is fully differential 👌. Best automotive scope there is!
If you want to buy a snap on, just buy the scanner by itself, that way you save money and buy ATS scope or Pico. With snap on you cannot measure the valve opening or closing degrees like ATS or Pico. I have the Escope elite 4 channel & i love it. I bought the pico 4425A and i used it 3 times & i sold it. i couldn't take it anymore, too much functions and hard to understand. Escope elite 4 is much easier & still fast and it does a lot of stuff that Pico cannot do. Its up to the technician what they want to get.
I HATE snap on’s way of capturing zoomed in and only being able to zoom out after. It just feels completely backwards and it’s the main reason I reach for the Pico more times than not.
😮Hi I have a mic sig sato 1004 I do get that model in sometimes I will try it and see if it works the Pico is a 10 though but the mic sig is a strong 8-81/2 my favorite 4channel tablet oscilloscope
Muchísimas gracias. Le agradezco que nos eye enseñado por todos estos años y espero en Dios me le dé salud para que siga post videos . Cuídese mucho primo Pura vida
Its great to be able to use multiple tools for a single component/system and really get muscle memory on the capabilities. It may be one or the most important but hardest things to do with the daily pace in this industry. Well done!
You may want to try the Zues in 4-channel lab scope mode rather than the DC Volt mode. You get the full capability of the scope only when in the lab scope mode, at least in my experience. I've had no issue with buffer size or sample resolution. It also has a filter which can be useful. I would like to use the Pico and ATS, but my shop only has the Zues.
@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics Might just be a language thing but ATS is extremely high resolution (16 bit), just with low sample rates (1MS/s max). To get the most out of a small signal like that, change the channel settings from 500v to 20v, and just use the first channel. Any time you're looking for signal quality, make sure to drop to the 20v setting. Give it a shot!

snap one does not play well with European vehicles they never have probably never will. I don't won't on BMWs or Volvos so I'm not too worried about it. Could you explain a little bit about how that particular WSS works? I have never had to AC couple my scope to look at a WSS so I'm a little confused as to what you are showing.
Some of the digital wheel speed sensors put out a very small signal riding on top of the voltage. Ac coupling is the only way you’re going to see the signal as the change in voltage is that small. Took me a second to figure it out the first time I ran across one. I had to go to a known good wheel on the truck and play with settings to find it.
Measure it against battery positive will give you a cleaner and beter signal, because ac coupling it can show you the signal but no absolute values. Be sure your scope can handeling “ measure against bat +” If you know how the circuit works it is easy to understand
How much to have you diagnose and repair my 2008 Nissan Titan ecm of i ship it to you? And program some keys but if not keys i can use a locksmith. Thank you
