that is if that country learned the harsh reality that their queens cant always be praised, they have to take the constructive criticism since it can help them to know what they need to work on in order to have a better chance to win.

At least Filipinos have the wins and long list of great competitors across various pageants to back their claims up. Does that justify their negative tendencies as fans? No. But that's better than other countries who do the same but with less of a "justification" to do so.

@@highland_persuasion sentiments like your's are what's fueling the fire. Using your logic South African fans can rain all the hate they want on other contestants since they're just as much of a powerhouse as Philippines but you don't see them doing that. Just because a country is good at pageants doesn't give their citizens the right to attack others with no provocation. And no there aren't any provocation by anyone else other than Filipinos.

Hi Siera...I’m from Singapore 🇸🇬 ...to be honest with you... our people are not really crazy over pageant... but I think I might be the only one that is crazy over Miss Universe every year... 😅 This year our representative is represented by a half filipina if I’m not wrong or she could be a pure filipina as our country is multi racial so any race can represent our country... it can be an Indian, a Chinese, a Malay or even a Eurasian as we call it here... but for a filipina to represent us is kind of a surprise for me... so I hope she will get into the top 20 as the last time Singapore got into top 10 when it was held in Singapore in 1987 (I was only 12 then)😅...and that was the only time Singapore ever made it to the semifinals .... Anyways my advice for you is to block all those toxic bashers and don think so much of them as you have said the judges are the one that choose the winner so we will all just sit back, relax and enjoy the show 🥰😊

I agree. She didn't even bash, she just pointed out facts based on experience.. I agree with what she said that 150 outfits is more than enough but she also mentioned potential advantages of it... Still, at the end of the day, the substance of each candidate will determine the best winner not their outfits.

I used to watch The Sovereign before. I agree with her that pageant toxicity in Philippines is uncontrollable. But whats the point of her adding how much (low) ad revenue she gets from Philippines viewership compared to other countries? Does she really have to mentioned that? Never have i seen ANY youtubers do (say) that. Its common courtesy to ignore bashers rather than confront them head-on.
