I prefer the curl cream side on you because I live for volume. On my hair I wouldn’t be able to use a curl cream because my hair is very undisciplined and requires the iron fist of a gel to keep it in order. If I used a curl cream, my hair would look beautiful and then I would cut it all off in the shower because of the amount of knots, tangles, and matting that I would have at the roots.
I liked the curl cream side more. The volume was amazing and your hair looked really soft and fluffy. For me I alternate between wetline extreme gel and Melanin haircare Twist Elongating Cream . My hair loves both of those products. O and honorable mention sometimes I still use the Taliah Wajid Curly Curl Cream. ❤
I was with you the ENTIRE video and my sentiments about the whole process matched EXACTLY. I wound-up liking both sides, too. Really cute (you have no fail hair, though…) I have never-and I do mean NEVER-been able to do wash ‘n gos; my hair patterns are a bit schizophrenic. HOWEVER, by accident in the shower last month, after shampooing, conditioning and applying a leave-in, I layered in some African White Shea Butter followed by some gel and voilà-wash n go. First time EVER-after nearly 18 years of being natural. I just let it air dry when I had the time or sat under the dome if I did not (I repeated it several times last month); I even had a middle part. (Almost didn’t recognize myself.) Super cute; super quick. Bought the new Tracee Ellis Ross blow dryer to diffuse. Worked. …still can’t believe it.
