I think I'll probably stop pushing mine beyond level 5 just because it gets way too expensive to push a lot of them beyond that. Agree with you 100% though, push for what your roster needs, especially for the GL's and capital ships. Can't get around those relics if you want those characters. And you should have it by that time, but Jolee only revives with the Zeta lol. Seen a few people lately without it running that team. Silly.
I take to Relic 5 and above for Requirements, Team Leaders, Tanks, Main Damage Dealers and Ships. Everything else is usually R3, usually being support characters.
Currently working on JKL to R7 to benefit my Jedi teams and for Jabba Req. In general, I Try to get characters to either R3 or R5. R3 lets you throw basic datacrons on them at least, maybe get some of those good TM boosts when available. R5 is the real goal though - For datacrons, for CPIT (I know it's going away) and for ROTE. I prioritize getting a whole team to like R3 then deciding which characters on that team should be higher. Example - My GAS 501st is R3 except GAS himself is R7. I would love to get the clones to R5 but I have other things that need those materials more.
Just R7'd cad bane to make his ship go before razorcrest. Grand inquisitor will be going straight to R7 for Reva shards. Then JML to R9 because he's a tank and all allies who assist deal damage equal to 40% of JML's max protection 😍
I always think ship captains are your best spot to relic for F2P and low spenders. That's where you'll punch up and win more GAC matches. JML and LV were my first R9 and I didn't regret those.
I have 2 R9 with Admiral Raddus and Lord Vader my first GL … I usually go for R3 if it’s possible because it is kinda solid. R5 is in my opinion the best stage it boost quite well and opens more doors
Imo you should bring all your relic projects to R5 at the least. With the current state of the game and Datacrons that's just kinda what's required. Obviously there are going to be GL and journey guide requirements that kinda suck in which case I would only bring them to what they are required to be at. But generally if you are bringing a team to GAC or TW viability they should all be R5 minimum. Which also helps with other game modes like conquest, ROTE, Raids, etc
R3 is cheap but overall not all that useful. R5 is the sweet spot for free to play, full squads at this level can do challenge rancor, first tier in the new tb and generally strengthens the squad overall. R7 quite expensive but worth it on specific characters eg CLS, boosts stats which chewpio shares to everyone very worth it. R8 killed me as a f2p player and only go this high for requirements. But amazing for attackers makes a HUGE difference. R9 whale level but amazing on tanks, I have no r9 as ridiculously expensive
I'm currently working on my 4th GL Jabba and plan on getting almost all hut cartel to at least relic 5 some like BLO I'll bring to 7 krrsantum I'll definitely bring to r7 and consider him for r8 or even r9
@@NOOCH2GUD I mean when do you relic these people and is it smart to relic them and maybe in phases frome 0 - 1million GP and 1million - 4million gp etc.
@@NOOCH2GUD I apologize, my comment didn’t read well. I appreciate this video, it makes sense that relic levels will be determined by your “endgame” goal. I do appreciate you showing the difference between R8 and R9, some of those stats are staggering! A general reference chart would be phenomenal, however it would have to most likely be based on top teams and synergies, I don’t know if basing it on characters individually would be worthwhile, anyway, I appreciate your hard work Star Wars Dad! 😁
