Liners in general help to keep laminate/paint of drawer in place, it might get ripped off or shabby due to heavy traffic of utensils work being done, promotes life longevity of drawer

Years ago I started using wallpaper for liner. It's thick and very washable. Far better selection in design and colors. The role I recently purchased for my new place was about $10. I'll have plenty left over to even put in my dresser drawers.

I would do the Clorox liners! They will be best for holding things in place while driving!

I'm looking for a heavy duty shelf liner that is sticky on the bottom side, and will also let me slide nested heavy glass bowls and casserole dishes in and out easily. This is for bottom shelves, so it's not easy to lift the bowls up so the shelf paper does not bunch up. Does such a product exist? Thanks!

Great question. I only know of the Duck Brand solid top liner is rather similar to what you are looking for without the sticky bottom. You could use museum gel to hold things in place on the heavy shelf liner. That may help solve the problem with the liner moving.

@@OrganizedMamas museum wax is good, but not really made for the stresses of that much movement pulling on it. My thought was - staple gun. Use one with small staples, like 18 gauge upholstery staples. (Upholster the shelf.) Big staples are really hard to drive in. Small upholstery tacks will work as well, likely far easier if you don’t have an air driven staple gun.

@@elizabethclaiborne6461 I would recommend double sided tape. It comes in different thickness too. Although the stuff does stick well so careful removing it. Pull the edge so it doesn’t pull up any laminate or paint.

I use my rotary cutter to trim this stuff. It makes a,straighter line.

You should paint the sides and insides of your drawers white, it would be protective and look better.

What in the plastic or vinyl that's going to make it mold or fungus resistant? Really overkill! Clean your cabinets paint of necessary with mold resistant pain. Put only clean dry items inside. Place a cloth placement if necessary. Don't be plastic addict. Too much already exists in the world.
