You can get a 18 k trailer get it de rated rated to 16 k, or a 16k trailer and de rate it to 14 k, and buy a 12 thousand pound machine and tow it with a F250 and keep the whole set up under 26000 pounds, hence no CDL required. My advice is for anyone getting in the track loader game, and using it as a weekly source of income. Spend the money on a low your machine. Any equipment over 1500 hours is going to require a ton of maintenance. That’s why the large majority of used machines get replaced and sold at the 1500 hour mark. Always buy the brand machine that has great dealership support close to where you operate. Dealer support trumps brand loyalty any day. Also buy a high flow machine with an enclosed cab. Kubota overs the best financing on the planet. They have a 72 month interest free program. The cool thing about their financing is that you can also finance all your implements with the purchase. So you can get a package deal and have everything you need to get started except for the trailer and truck. So for around $2000 per month you can have a brand new setup. Two jobs a month should pay for all your expenses. And you’re on your way. Good luck with everything, cheers

As always love the transparency in your videos. So when buying a skidsteer what are the attachments that you should look for? and as far as the buckets would it be better a bladed bucket or the one with the forks on it?

One of the lessons I learned in life was to buy the best you can afford the first time around. Had a photography business and was always jackin around with consumer grade stuff. Pro level stuff just seemed so out of range for my skills and price level. I spent 10's of thousands of dollars on crappy consumer stuff until I pulled the trigger on the pro level equipment and it was a night and day difference in performance and quality. Could have saved so much money and foolish impulse buys if I had just laid down the cash for the big boy stuff to begin with. It's called cuttin teeth and sometimes learning is expensive and tough.

Im semi retired and would like to work at something lucrative, yet I can set my own hours or vacation time. Im just not sure how I would market my business good enough to get job.
