Actually, I kind of like the old one better because even though frontiers trying to match it, the spin dash is way more OP and more easier to be run OG emerald coast is always the best
Wow, that Sonic Frontiers mod was very cool. This was a very interesting question because in Frontiers they do some changes from the original Emerald Coast in Adventure 1. To me I kinda think that Frontiers Emerald Coast was a faster level than the original Emerald Coast in Adventure 1. Damn comparing Modern Sonic with Adventure Sonic just makes me miss Adventure Sonic so much. I don't get it. There's just something about the shape and style of Adventure Sonic that gets me. It makes Modern Sonic just not look Sonic-y enough. lol
I wanted to spice up a mod showcase so it was interesting lol, but yeah it was def cool to see the side by side comparison. The Dreamcast model is also my favorite

This Frontiers mod is absolutely amazing! The level design on this Frontiers version is really good and nice. It definitely feels like a SA1 remake, which is actually something that we haven’t seen before but really need. I actually enjoyed this mod, and it was definitely fun to showcase. Sonic Adventure is already a great game, and this mod made it cool. I’m not going to lie, I think I prefer the OG SA1 version of Emerald Coast, because I feel like the gameplay feels more smooth. The Frontiers version was also very good, and the creator(s) did an amazing job with it. Shoutout to the devs, and W mod showcase, Chris!
They're only remembered because of how overused they are. If we're actually talking about the best levels remembered by the fans then they would be stages like Emerald Coast, Speed Highway, City Escape, Pumpkin Hill, Mystic Cave, Ice Cap, Lava Reef, Star Light and Seaside Hill. Nobody cares about Casinopolis, I can't even remember where that zone is from. I think it's from Adventure 1. All those other zones you named are just mid-zones from the Classic games, most of them aren't that great, they aren't bad either though
