Wahl Detailer (w/cord) is the best trimmer I've ever used..no modifications needed.. first trimmer I didn't have to zero gap..my Andis T liners are collecting dust @ the moment.
I think your video should be titled “Guessing which Trimmer is the best” or “haven’t tried there for i have no idea which the best trimmer is” or “opinion of the day”..... cause what can you really say about something you’ve never tried.
Hey I just bought the cordless detailer.....out the box fire! no adjustments. But don't sleep on the slim line pro li! just ordered the gold fx...but I will say I have the babyliss silver cordless clipper and trimmer and I am impressed. I work in the film industry and I have needed great reliable clippers and I have been impressed with the clippers mentioned. thanks for the good videos.
Babylisspro Skeleton Gold FX is the TRUTH , that wahl blade sucks I hate it . That's what I dislike about the 38 Caliber . I'm telling you that skeleton gold fx is what the cordless t-outliner should have been 🙌🏼🚀💯
The Wahl blade sucks period , you're right. I also tried balding with it. It cuts jagged not smooth at all. I just sold my corded Wahl detailer today. I just recieved my babyliss skeleton silver fx yesterday. But y'all gotta try the renpho 30 dollar trimmer from Amazon. Right away it replaced my Wahl balding clipper and Wahl detailer.
Got the corded deatailers maybe 7 months ago, they’re lowkey staring to die on me but I lowkey used to beat them up by using them to bald out a lot of bulk, hey only $40 tho
@@TRAVELBARBERLIFE if this gets to u if u could make a how they doing now video on your silver fx's and other cordless trimmer u have I know u not doing that right now but I like your honesty and would be super cool what u think
I mainly use my cordless T-outliners, until my girl had got me the bevels and I know, I know everyone said they were 🗑 when they came out 3 years ago but idk what they did to the blades but they hit just as hard as my skeletons and cordless T-outliners. And my cordless outliners can cut circles around the corded one. But it’s really all preference and what fits your cutting style.
The problem is some people are attached to the Detailer. If you start out fresh not knowing anything about the Detailer and the Babyliss.... the Babyliss hit way harder. Gives a sharper line. Don’t get me wrong the detailer are great.
i have both and babyliss skeletor is the best ...by far the whal detailer is the second is good too but nothing like the babyliss skeletor mi friend....
I have all the trimmers and u have to say babyliss skeleton fx is the best by far. But the question how long will last. Will it break down after 6 months or a year. That's the question. I have the babyliss shavers and out the box nothing is better but 2 months later it doesn't hit the same.
Thanks thanks thanks thanks bro! Finally some body have it real! 1first if I buy a clipper is because I have to use it to work with it, not to work on it! That's my philosophy about investing in a tool! So I think you totally right when you said that if a product is good, we'll going to feel it right out of the box and don't need nothing else but very lil ajust! That's is dope simple and clear! I said no modifications at all, I understand when I want to have fun I can work on some old classic clipper modifications but I'll be like let me show you how to work on that old Wahl senior's classic or something... really nice! BUT for every clipper on this days? not worth to spend time and money with a new product to be doing modifications, or homemade gadtgets! In my twentysomethin year's of barbering I'm attach to Wahl senior's. I like cordless too. To me they all could be a lot better... bottom line I can't complain I'm making a living. Second point yes a lot of barbers are unbelievable broken up there spending money and time in the wrong so! Hands to work fellas... And Man That's why I love your channel brother! I like straight up to the real point and keep it growing. All positive ! God bless you....ps thinking about this FX babyliss...and skeleton. Just thinking about round ergonomic ruff grip maigt have lots of sense!
Do You own the Retros bro. I own all of these trimmers and I have to say for the money, is invest in the Slimline li all day, detailers, them the babyliss. The Retros are a solid clipper imo, the motor is just too slow for me but I do use them regularly for lining
To me I just won’t spend 175-200 on a trimmer or a clipper.Depending on the cordless detailers price range if I will purchase. The slimline pro li and the tcut works really good for me if I have to have a cordless trimmers.
I have been faithful to my Styliner II's for 15 years. The older and newer models have been consistent and get the job done every single time. They only cost about $50 to $60. I won't pay $150 to $200 for some trimmers or clippers.
I have the FX gold and the FX silver with a deep tooth also the wall detail those cordless trimmer. I like them all but the wall cordless detailer is the best all around trimmer in my eyes . Oh yeah I did have the Andis cordless trimmer’s I sold them to sharp and matter what I did I was cutting people and that’s not good
I am trying to decide between the babyliss pro & the wireless toutliner. Looking for a review between the 2 to see which is more practical for me. I'm not a barber.. I do however cut my out hair. I usually shave my head. I have the corded toutliner for the past 10 yrs. Man that thing still hits like a champ. But I wanted to get something cordless. Any suggestions?
MAN, i would say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Especially if you aren't a professional barber and, don't have a UBER need to free yourself of the cord. I would say save your money! These cordless tools won't last 10 years. However, the Babyliss trimmers are niiiiice. Be smart about this decision.
funny thing.....i just ordered the gold fx I will have them thursday....so I will test them out in a head to head battle this weekend.....question why you not getting the cordless masters? have you heard something?
I would say the Wahl detailer. Andis definitely dropped the ball with the cordless outliner (even with the gtx it's just good not great). I've heard great things about the babyliss but haven't used it yet. I'm a fan of the Wahl detailer blade but that first cordless version (lever) wasn't as good as the corded. I couldn't wait and bought a Renpho, swapped the blade to wahl detailer and it's hands down the best all around hitters/trimmers I've ever used. I know it's moded but it's still way cheaper and at amazing quality.
I like when i can see what clippers you talking about verses all talk and no clippers to show it kills the hold understanding for a beginner that wants to buy one. So no this didn't help me much at all next time show the clippers.
I never cut nobody with no T edger Andis and f*** MMA I'm going to watch tha video all the way to the end though I work for 20-30 years I'm a 3rd Generation Barber all I had was hand-me-downs I worked in Houston for 20 years made $400 on a Saturday to $300 on a Monday All with hand-me-down Clippers but God bless everybody and be safe
I have all tipe! 14 differnt trimmer. Im România barber. I think i fu set them corectly nr 1 îs whal detailer cordless nr 2 Gamma nr 3 andis. Cheers im your nr 2 subscribe. Good bless Us
I cut hair in el salvador I get the job done with a senior ,peanut ,hero, and a andis shaver no problem all those other fancy clippers are just a waste of money
Andis products always need mods for their products to perform ; tension ball; blade mods... forget that mess. Out the box the detailers hit, period. I heard the babyliss skeletons can sometimes snag hair but I haven’t heard this complaint with the detailers.
