Which USMNT players NEED a move this January and WHERE should they go? 

Reyna should go to Napoli, they need someone like him currently. Would be a great club for him. He would be able to get time, expecially now they are losing Piotr Zielinski in the summer. The club needs someone just like him.

GK: • Horvath (Championship or MLS on a permanent move) • Steffen (Even if he’s still injured go back to MLS) • Celentano and Callender (2 good seasons in MLS, time to go) LB: • Vines (His team screwed him over in the CL) • Tolkin (Best American in MLS last season, 3 seasons as a starter, time to go) • Jones (Anywhere in Europe) CB: • McKenzie and Carter-Vickers (Level up, go anywhere) • Robinson (Anywhere in Europe) RB: • Reynolds and Fossey (Level up, probably stay in Belgium or Netherlands) DM/CM: • Parks (Time to go, anywhere in Europe) • Flach (I don’t see it, but he’s rumored) • Morris (Anywhere in Europe) •McGlynn and Buck (Too early but I’ve seen rumors) AM: • Luna, Gutierrez, and Puskas (Too good for their current clubs, level up) • Reyna (Too good to be rotting on the bench) • Aaronson, Bassett and Mihailovic (Need a change of scenery, Netherlands, Belgium or Portugal) W: •Fletcher (Sign permanently w Swansea’s senior team) • Ku-DiPietro and Kamungo (Too early but our winger depth is seriously lacking so I’m hoping one of them bangs abroad and fast tracks their development) CF/ST: • Ferreira, Vazquez, Gioacchini, McGuire (Anywhere in Europe)

CCV is injured currently, no chance he moves in January. Celtic won’t sell him either with the title race being so tight. It’ll probably be a Summer move for £25m to whoever gets promoted this year or a midtable PL club.

The whole Ethan situation is strange. Every time he has helped a team get promotion he get benched. He's also been with the program a lot longer than Matt Turner has and Matt Turner is just terrible with his feet. I think Ethan would get plenty of competitive minutes at a club in the Eredivisie. But hes still the most reliable backup goalkeeper for the US and should absolutely stay in Europe.

I desperately want to see Steffen and Horvath move to a team that will start them. We need the goalie depth very bad

Robinson leads the league in interceptions and 15th in blocks. He's playing at a top 6 level. The only problem is he's not so much significantly better than the backs in the top 6 of the table that they would be willing to spend what Fulham would ask for Antonee. I could see a top 5 club in Bundesliga, Serie A or La Liga being his level. I'd rather him stay where he is unless he gets the offer of a lifetime and playing time at a great club

Steffen was good at Middlesborough. His save% was towards the middle of the pack and overall saves towards the top third with definitely an average number of clean sheets for the league. They wanted to offer him a contract but not for what City wanted. Otherwise, sincere thanks for creating this content and for being willing to put these opinions out in the first place. Its always going to be controversial to someone somewhere. I just thought I would speak up for Zach Steffen’s benefit!

Eredivisie probably a good option in Europe for Brenden. For a guy already seemingly struggling with confidence, I think Aaronson going to Leeds would be disastrous. He wouldn't start, would get brutalized in the very physical Championship and get even less calls there than in the Prem. Having requested a loan out he wouldn't get much love from the bitter fans there.

Robinson just doesn't fit Liverpool's style. Klopp's system is designed for fullbacks to get high up the field and put in a lot of crosses. I don't think that Robinson's level is what keeps him from being good at Liverpool. It has more to do with the way that he plays.

Zack Steffen to Colorado Rapids is a done deal... Padraig Smith( rapids president ) confirmed this behind the scenes at a season ticket holder event I was at. Nothing has been officially announced but Steffen will join the Rapids.

Gio to AC Milan is such a bad take. As a Milan Fan who watches week in and week out, and USMNT fan, gio to milan would just result in him spending a lot of time on the bench. Pioli generally plays either a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. RLC has been pioli's favorite to play that 10/8 role. Initially, it was discussed that Puli was actually going to play the 10 in a 4231, with chuk on the RW/RAM, but chuk has been atrocious, and RLC has come up big at times (very hit or miss player, but his physical presence is something we desperately need in the midfield) and seems to be a constant in Pioli's plans. RLC+Reijnders+Benny would be a difficult midfield for him to break into (with musah also putting in great shifts while benny has been injured). Not to mention, the fans have been calling for pioli to play a 4231 with Leao/Puli/Chuk since the beginning of the season, and will probably happen at some point. Really wouldn't want to see gio and puli fight for minutes if we did go that route. We DESPERATELY need a true 6/destroyer in the midfield to pair with benny/reijnders/musah/rlc/etc. I highly doubt we'd sign another AMF before we signed a DM. Also desperately need CBs + a striker for depth.

i think the suggestion from Jesse Marsch about Gio going to Eintracht Frankfurt would be a good spot for him. Götze's gotten a number of starts recently but doesn't seem like he's been all that effective.

Someone mentioned ship going to zGladbach, that way he wouldn’t have to learn a new language, new culture in such a short amount of time. Gladbach need some creative players, and the Coach (Seones sp? ) likes to play attacking football. Dortmund would loan to Gladbach, because they don’t feel threatened by them.
