Honestly, that part was inspired by your videos. You're always so genuine. I wanted to channel that a bit and share a true story. I love how games and seemingly "silly" or "small" things can have a huge impact on our lives.
No sharpen from what i can tell when playing (the bowgun seems the best weapon to me playing for a couple of weeks, reloading ammo and different ammo amount of the multihits/solohits changes depending on the different bowguns). Just unlocked 5* monsters so will notice if it still works against those.
ALL THIS TIME!? Wow! I am pretty similar actually now that I think about it. In MH1 the Dual blades were a secret path you could take on the sword and shield. Once I found that out, I thought it was so sick and loved them. I've bounced between a few weapons like Hammer, SNS, Insect Glaive, Charge Blade, and Hunting Horn but I always end up at Dual blades by mid-game even if I actively try not to haha. That's sick man.
I actually never touched the DBs in any real capacity until MHR when elemental DBs became super strong lol.@@HuntersNotez. I do like to swap things up and run LS, CB, and Lance but definitely a GS main at heart. I didn't know about that secret path from SnS - that's super cool.
I'll just go ahead and ask: Comparing Pokemon Go 1. How big of a role does the supply collecting? Like do you seek out Mining points, Herbs, and Bonepiles as often as you seek out poke stops? Most of the time poke stops will fully dictate a route people will walk and is a place where people can add lures, plus pokemon spawn around them 2. Have you compared the two games side by side to see what gyms and poke stops turn into? 3. Is there any mechanic that “Pays off” if you walk a lot? like hatching eggs in Pogo? 4. Is there a current Level Cap? It was 40 in Pogo for a WHILE 5. Is there any indication of an accessory device like a pokemon go+ or does you palico just suffice, and that’s the only passive play that there is right now? 6. Is there anything like a speed cap like in Pogo? 7. Can you add friends? 8. Have you tested the game in a rural setting yet? They said it was better than Pogo in rural areas 9. Does weather play a part in the game at all yet? 10. In pogo, there are Quests divided into “Today” “Field” and “Special” are there divisions like that in MHnow? Just Daily, and Story? 11. Have you seen any PVP elements yet like gyms or battles in pogo? Is it just all PVE? 12. There are dark green or grassy patches that indicate areas like parks in pogo. They have extra spawns there, have you seen anything like that in MHN? 13. Is there anything like campfire in the game? And have you done multiplayer yet? How does it feel? 14. Are biomes linked to the real world like water near water etc? Or is it just random? 15. Are there location based badges like in pogo? What do achievements look like. (badges? Coins? Untracked)
MHnow Specific 1. How do wander pebbles work? Do you need to be somewhere specific? Does it just spawn a lot of things around you? 2. Do you find yourself ever running out of inventory space? 3. Can you sell items/ parts for Zenny? 4. Can you craft items like potions if you collect herbs and blue mushrooms? 5. What’s the most fun quest so far? 6. What’s the most annoying quest so far? 7. I saw code for cooking and stuff via a data mine. Are there any mini games or anything like that in the game that you haven’t seen anyone talk about? 8. Similar to the last question but more towards stats: is there any way to boost stats right now? like eating food? or even demon drugs etc. 9. Can you customize your palico in any way? 10. IS THERE A GUILD CARD or anything like it? I LOVE trading Guild cards 11. I saw the photo mode advertised at the MHNow showcase. Is that out yet? I haven’t seen any AR photos with monsters 12. Does it take a lot to upgrade weapons and armor? 13. How do you upgrade skills? 14. Have you seen evidence of any “hidden” armors or items like Mosgharl armor or Deathstench armor? 15. How long do you have to wait for your health to regenerate? 16. With so few monsters are you getting bored of the roster yet? 17. Is there one weapon that is clearly OP so far? 18. Is there underwater combat?! (Jk) 19. Have you played the game in horizontal mode? How is it different? 20. How are the weapon and armor designs? Are they just verbatim what was in MH world? 21. @@HuntersNotez 1) At first mining points and bonepiles are kinda important to craft weapons. Especially with Monster Bone M. After stockpiling them, it’ll be sufficient. The mining points/bonepiles are almost at the same spot as Pogo. You can’t add lures to attract monsters. 2) There’s only bonepiles/mining points/herbs in monster hunter now. Monsters will just spawn randomly. They do not stick to one spot. 3) Nope, I wish they would have that idea 4) There’s no HR cap. I’ve seen HR89 hunters already. I’m currently at HR45 and I’m not a spoofer but a motorbike rider 5) There’s no accessory device like pogo. Palico currently have two jobs (mostly done while you let your app run in background) Palico will have their own paintball (daily of 3, refreshes daily) and toss it at random monsters you passed. And palico will collect items along the way, maximum of 6 and you’ll needa tap on the “palico bag is full” icon to collect from the palico. 6) Yes there’s a speed cap, however, there’s a loophole to that. Whenever I’m at the traffic light, and there’s a monster I want to fight like a rathalos, I’ll click into it and then ride off to a safe place to fight it. It will not go away. 7) nope, I wish you could 8) hmmm, it’s the same I guess 9) there’s no weather that plays a part but the terrain switches randomly. Like the spot at my house could be dessert today and swamp tomorrow or in the next few hours 10) Yes, the daily and adventure quests are separated. Adventure quest will have a symbol and sometimes you’ll see it on top of the monsters head. For example, Adventures quest 1 requires you to kill Rathian, then you’ll see a rathian with the adventure quest logo on top of it. 11) Currently there’s no PVP, it’s all PVE 12) The spawn spot are randomize but me and my friends found out abt the spawn timing. It’s every 3 hours. So it’ll have a new spawn 8 times daily. The timing is 2am,5am,8am,11am,2pm,5pm,8pm,11pm 13)I’ve done multiplayer, and honestly speaking, it thought it would be laggy but no. The gameplay is smooth. Me and my friend would be playing side by side and the monster would react the same way. So when it’s time to dodge we would be like “SWIPE! SWIPE!” (Swipe to dodge*) 14) Nope, terrains are randomize, and monsters will only be found in their own terrains. 15) Currently, there’s no badges. But you could see how many times you’ve killed the monster. Good idea tho! They should have a title/badge
The OG Weapons, yes the first gen 1 weapons. I know this is 1 month video but just wondering is other weapons coming to MHNow? G.S, Gunlance and Switch Axe always my favourite.
According to leaks, the next weapons will be Lance and Dual blades, but there is no way to confirm it right now. Whatever will be next will come in December. With all of the weapons added in the future eventually.
I'm playing it even though it's not in my region, and omg, it's so fun. I'm actually taking extra walks in the day to complete some quests. I can't wait to hunt with yall!
@Niklaus06 yes, I think around 15 or 16 you get the greatsword, then the level after that is the rest. I don't remember the exactly the level, but I remember getting greatsword, then immediately being able to get my bonk game on again🔨
Yeah Dual Blades are so much fun. They will add them. They've already been talking about polling what the next weapon added will be. Honestly though with this game feeling like you are always a glass cannon, I will have to change my play style a lot from other games if I use them. It will take some getting used to for sure.
Yeah, unfortunately no Gunlance at launch :( There is no word whether they will add the other weapons, but I really hope they do and I have faith that they will. These kinds of games like to drip feed you and normally it doesn't work on me, but this time, since it's Monster hunter, it definitely will haha.
@@usonohoshi6165 I play a good bit a gachas and the only mobile game I've ever spent money on is pokemon go and that was like $10. I'm just REALLY hyped for this game because I love this game style and I love monster hunter. 😃
Do you think that on the Grand Launch date of 14/9/2023, the whole game will be reset and all the player skill development and items will be cleared from the soft launch? I hope so.
No, definitely not. For the beta test it was but it's a true launch for those countries. And for an anecdotal example, I played pokemon go early back in 2016 and none of my progress was reset. Same company, so I don't see why they would. I'm ready to dive in head first though! I'll be playing at like 4-5am so I can start my journey with the sunrise! :) (And so I have a few hours before my kids wake up lol)
@@Nathan-ht9sc I definitely agree. That's the main reason I haven't played yet. I feel like it's unfair. But I'll be working hard to rise the ranks! (plus there's no real confirmed competition or pvp that I've seen so at least there's not much to be behind on in terms of competition.) Monster Hunter and these kind of games are marathons, not sprints anyway, so I'm gonna enjoy the ride regardless of when it happens.

@@juzwantukkomen5595 Don't think the Outdoor advice is still the case. I saw a video of a guy playing Monster Hunter Now but using some GPS and joystick cheat. Pokemon Go has seen this same kind of treatment.

based on that gameplay and information i highly doubt the game will have a long lifespan or attentionspan of potential players. a majority of weapons are missing, and the gameplay is overly simplified
💧Gotta drip feed 'em. It's a mobile live service game so I assumed they would do something like this. 🤷♂️Doesn't really bother me though. A true hunter can adapt to any weapon. I'll be extra hype when my main is introduced. Can't WAIT for MH6 or World 2 or whatever they want to call it also!
@@Jackiewheelz I doubt they will make you pay for weapons. There would be too much abandonment. I would hopefully be bigger by then and would rally everyone to boycott the game. That would be ridiculous. I hope you try it out for fun since it's free. If not, then I'll see you in MH6! 😃
Hmm... I doubt it. Capcom, and Monster Hunter for that matter have different teams working on different projects. For the main games they always have the Tokyo team and the Osaka team working on different games. They have been working on Monster Hunter 6 FOR A WHILE. If there isn't a new weapon, it's because they decided it wasn't worth putting a new one in to make it 15 or more. I don't think MH Now weighed in on that decision. If anything, I would think they would add an exclusive weapon style to this game, to push it and make people want to try it out, then announce that it would be in MH6 to cross promote the games. I personally don't think the games need another weapon since there are so many, but I would gladly welcome a new one! :)
Actually reading this back, those are the locations for the Kingdom Hearts games (Huge fan of those too) haha. There are two teams for MH: The mainline, and the portable. I don't know the locations of them offhand, but everything else still stands. 😂
