There is no domestic airline I want that I can't book through a WF alliance partner and I really like the idea of double dipping by earning airline miles by going through their site and simultaneously earning WF points by paying for it with an Autograph. I don't have any flights planned for a while so I am going to hold off for now but see a WF trifecta as my core going forward
@@upgradedtravels Active Cash rewards can be linked to Autograph so those 2 and either the Journey, or maybe the Beyond if and when we see it. Of course if Bilt and WF had some level of integration all sorts of combinations open up
@@upgradedtravels Those are the ones under Wells Fargo that I have, with the exception of the Journey. I also have cards from AMX, Chase, Capital One, Citi, Bank of America, Discover, and Navy Federal. Everything is no annual fee except for: Sapphire Reserve AMX Platinum Hilton Surpass AMX Delta Gold AMX WF Choice Priv Select I only have the Platinum because of an upgrade offer from Gold. Feb 2025 I will downgrade it. 18 cards. 11 are 100% no foreign fees on all categories. The other 7 lose multipliers value because of foreign transaction fees either partially or totally.
That's a pretty good list of cards that you got there. Personally, I like the AMEX platinum more than the Sapphire Reserve. I feel like I can pretty much use of all the benefits from AMEX Plat, but Sapphire Reserve is really getting cannibalized by the preferred and the freedom flex. @@fogrunr5075
I want to know what will happen to this card when the transfer partners get better . PLEASE REMEMBER THE REGULAR AUTOGRAPH WILL HAVE THE SAME PARTNERS. And it's a pretty decent card. Next thing, what will the premium card Beyond look like? And another thing what are you going to do with the Bilt card??
Yes, you are right. The regular autograph card has the same transfer partners, so I believe Wells Fargo is trying to build a family of cards to compete in the reward space. However, they are late to the game as both Chase and Capital One are already building their network of lounges like American Express, Well Fargo is only at the beginning phase of obtaining transfer partners. It's good to have new competition though and I'm excited to see what comes next. For Bilt, I personally don't have it, but I do see a lot of good things about it. Things like the monthly Bilt day generates a lot of buzz in the points community. If you have rent or mortgage, I think it's a great card to have. I think even more people will get it if there's a sign up bonus.
