Prince, ladies and gentlemen, was a revolutionary.

RIP PRINCE. He left us 7 years ago today. He did not even rehearse this. He asked for some time for a solo at the end. He is the GOAT,self taught and played 27 instruments well. He was left off of the magazine Rolling Stones, of the top 100 best guitar players of all times. He definitely showed them that they made a grave mistake. 💜💜💜

Prince is on another level. You can feel the electrical essence flowing out and through him and his guitar!! This is what creates life!

Eric Clapton who played the solo on Beatles orginal version once was asked "how does it feel to be the best guitarist in the world?" His reply "i don't know you have to ask Prince"!

Right before this happened, Rolling Stone magazine came out with its Top 100 guitar players. Prince was NOT listed. That's why he was encouraged by Tom Petty to "tear it up" on this performance.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!! Everybody gets so fixated on Prince's guitar slaying (although Stevie more than holds his own!), and perhaps rightly so, but for you to acknowledge the astonishing vocals of Jeff Lynn makes your reaction by far the greatest of the numerous other reactions I've watched of this song!!! You truly rock!!!

My favourite baby girl - with one of my all-time favourite songs! 💖👏💖 A wonderful performance and a fitting tribute. You were very close when you said "someone that looks like George Harrison" in reply to a comment - it is George's son! (who looks so much like his dad from the early photos of the Beatles). I think one of the reasons this song is so good, is that the chord sequence is so hypnotic in how it goes around in a circle (and as a musician, it makes you want to go on playing it over and over ). The original is also so good, plus George did a solo acoustic version which is very heartfelt (it is called the Anthology 3 version). And.... there is one other amazing live version from "The Concert for George" which was a memorial concert, one year after he passed away. This version is particularly moving as both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are playing on the song along with George's son and Eric Clapton (who played lead guitar on the original!). The Original featured Eric Clapton playing lead guitar replacing John Lennon for that recording session. John also played a Beatles song with Eric, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, and Mitch Mitchell on drums, calling themselves The Dirty Mac performing Yer Blues, which can be found on RU-vid.

Prince beat Mozart, he mastered over 14 instruments by age 17, he could dance, sing any note, rap, he wrote, arranged, performed ALL his music, including wrote hits for other artists, he has covered almost every genre, Metal, Punk rock, hip hop, pop, r&b, soul, jazz, blues, country, ambience, classical, instrumental. The Multi-Genre God. He could play anything, and your favorite artists have been deeply influenced by him. Corey Taylor, Whitney Houston, Steve Vai, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Lil uzi vert, H.E.R. , Paul Mccartney, all worship Prince to just name a few. Prince recorded his first 2 albums at 16 all by himself, all instruments, lyrics, arrangement, composition & vocals were all by him. He was such a prodigy, that music executives wanted proof, they would fly across country just to see if he could really play all instruments, because it was so unheard of. Prince has over 50 official released albums and when he passed, they found over 10 thousand unreleased Prince music in his vault. He then came into the business and was the FIRST to fight for artists rights, and he WON. He would write "slave" on his cheek and go to meetings protesting against the industry. Prince was also the first artist to sell his music on the internet. You are talking about the most talented artist we will ever see.

This was the evening Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and George Harrison was posthumously inducted. Prince is beyond amazing. He's like a one man army 💜

This is a song by The Beatles (1968) ... written by George Harrison ... George asked Eric Clapton to be a guest guitarist, when they recorded it.. This version is quite faithful to the original recording.

Prince’s guitar solo is epic

This whole performance was perfect from start to finish. Everyone on that stage was amazing, but Prince took it up a few notches. Kudos to all the fantastic musicians, including Dhani Harrison who responded to Prince's guitar solo with such enthusiasm! Please dive into Tom Petty's deep catalog of songs: "Free Fallin'", "Break Down", "I Won't Back Down", "You Don't Know How I Feel", "Mary Jane's Last Dance", "You Got Lucky", "Learning to Fly", and "Crawling Back to You" are great examples of Tom Petty and The Heartbreaker's greatness. As for Prince, some of his best are: "When Doves Cry", "Kiss", "Sign o' the Times", and"Purple Rain". This was my first time watching you and I enjoyed your reaction!

If you are ever interested in more Prince I would highly recommend “Let’s go crazy,” from the movie Purple Rain. Your reaction to this one was awesome! This is regarded by many as one of the greatest electric guitar solos in history. Prince stepped in for the performance at a moments notice because Eric Clapton couldn’t make it and he knocked it out of the park.

I was never a big fan of Prince's material. This is the video that really brought fully to my attention what an accomplished musician he was, though.
