Great video, if you don’t mind I’ll add to the bullock whip. Being a Aussie, I’ll share a bit if Australian history. The use of Bullocks years ago were preferred over the use of horses as they could pull very heavy loads such as, logs, wool, sugarcane, building supplies ect.., and were common in Australia. They were called Bullock teams and there would be sometimes around 40 Bullocks working at a time. Because there were many of them being used at a time, a long handled whip was used so the driver could throw out a crack towards the bullocks at the front, hence the need for a bullock whip. These days you only see bullock whips used for cracking, but they do have a history of being a working whip.
I became so nervous I could not watch this entire video. There is something about a beautiful woman speaking with authority whip in hand that effects me on a very deep level. I need a shower.

Amazing video, very well explained and a great variety of whips! I’m getting into making them and deciding which ones to start with, Thankyou for your help! Super informative
Whips have scared me since I was a kid for some reason. My older sibling's friend had one and gave me a pants-shittingly inept demonstration in her small bedroom once. Which was kinda terrifying, as she had no idea how to use it. After that my child brain registered the whip like you would a venomous snake coiled in the corner. It even looked like one, with the braiding and pattern. Huh....probably just remembered where that wariness comes from lol (I got here from fire dancing videos where whips are used. I have to say, pretty impactful and cool looking in performance!)
Hi, i have a leather Shaolin bullwhip. You didn't speak about Shaolin bullwhips, apart from this the video was very intresting. but I would like an opinion about these. Thank you..
I'd love if you would be able to make a tutorial about using an over under leather whip. I like and find your vidéos very well done and instructives. Thanks a lot in advance. Keep safe!
Great vid. I can't seem to find a link to the Rusty Knives Florida Cowwhip using google. I did find the performance hybrid at dakitty whip but am not sure how it would compare to the Florida Cowwhip in terms of loudness. I have two bullwhips and two stockwhips and am wondering how you would rate the ease of use of a Florida Cowwhip compared to those two styles of whips. Also thanks for your vids explaining stuff to beginners like me, you really make understanding things easy to understand.
But what I really want to know is... can April fly fish? Just maybe April's incredible skill set can fairly easily transfer to fly fish casting. There might be some more records related to fly fishing April could capture. Glad to be of service.
How is the rotation achieved in the performance hybrid and Florida cow whips? I haven't seen any details on how that transition section is constructed.
So I have searched everywhere for a true LED whip and I keep getting sent to those fiber optic whips or space whips, I keep getting told what I'm looking for does not exist. But it's right here at 6:42 so WHERE DO I GET ONE OF THESE Please help me
Sorry, I no longer sell whips. For Fire Whips, I'd recommend Dark-Monk. For LED and Juggling Whips you'll have to ask whip-makers to get those custom. Flowmancer does a number of custom props. You can use my coupon code "AprilChoi" to get 5% off.
I'm a professional whip artist and I perform full time. Many of my shows use whips. I mainly use Speed whips and Flow whips these days. Mainly for targeting and dance shows.
