Slow down, put everything to counts. Always teach in 8 counts. Tell when the dance moves to the next wall. Introduce the dance with total counts and tell us if there are any restarts or tags. This is the only instruction video I can find but it is poorly made. You should also tell us the name of the song.

These videos are meant more as a refresher/quick break down of sorts for the dances I teach at Stoneys Rockin Country in Las Vegas. During my actual instruction I spend 45minutes breaking down and teaching this particular dance. The reason why I say the steps instead of the counts is again, because this is exactly the way I teach it and break it down for my students. During the actual lesson I do indeed break down the counts for each section as well. Hope to see you at a class in the future!!
Indeed! You are not wrong! I have ZERO clue why this dance has two names, probably due to a song that came along and was put to it or somethin! But you are definitely correct, this dance is called aces and eights!
