'Whip/Nae Nae' Rapper Indicted for Murder

Richard Hawk, better known by the stage name Silento, was arrested in February 2021 in connection with the shooting death of his cousin, Frederick Rooks, according to Georgia’s Dekalb County Police Department. In early August, a grand jury indicted the rapper on 4 felony charges, including malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and gun possession during the commission of a felony. Silento was just 17 years old when the song ‘Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae’ went platinum in 2015.

I don’t know what it is with rappers and murdering people, it seems to come hand in hand. It’s not only in America, even in Scandinavia it’s the same. Maybe it’s just that most rappers tend to surround themselves with bad people. If I made that much money and was on my way to become a star I’d be on my best behavior enjoying life not surrounding myself with criminals.
