THANK YOU! I haven’t put rinse aid in for over 2 years because I couldn’t understand why it went everywhere when I tried to add it to the dispenser. So I thought I was doing something wrong. You showed me me the correct way to load the rinse agent and also apparently there is no way around spilling a good bit.
When the wash is completed and I open the dish’s washer again, should I find the rinse aid dispenser lid to be open or closed? I keep finding it closed which makes me wonder if any rinse aid came out
OMG YOU'RE MY HERO! I put rinse-aid in my dishwasher but all of my dishes were still coming out having water spots on it and I couldn't figure out why. I had no clue you could adjust the amount of rinse-aid that the dishwasher used. I opened it and sure enough it was set to 1. Now hopefully I'll have less water spots! Thank you so much!!!
I have the same dishwasher, but when I put the rinse aid in, it never gets full! it just keeps looking like it’s empty.. ( the liquid never sits above that fill line like yours did)
With the help of the handy tips provided in your video ,viewers not get a better understanding of how their Whirlpool dishwasher works but also helps them use their dishwasher more effectively
Thank you for this video it extremely basic and to the point which is exactly what I needed and you answered my rinse aid questions I had prior to watching the video.
So why does it say "Prewash"? If you slide the "prewash" compartment open and fill it up, that's gonna be used for the wash (not a prewash). Or is the prewash cavity itself where some powder/gel should be put? But if that's the case, you might as well just sprinkle it on the surface for the prewash cycle because once you close the door the detergent will ultimately end up just there.
Thanks for bringing up this point! The labeling on some appliances can be a bit confusing, but the important thing is that the detergent gets where it needs to go.
Thanks for sharing , I was looking for replacing the wash cup door, mine came discombobulated, and I didn’t know how to put the spring back I found the RU-vid to fix but kept looking 😊 to make sure it was correct, I think the spring is bent so I will have to replace☹️
Is there a way to run just a drying cycle on this machine? We often have to do a second heated dry on our machine, but it has a dial you can turn to the right spot..I don't see how to do that with these newer machines.
Thank you so much for this video. I thought I was doing something wrong because it spilled everywhere...and I had no idea what that little dial did lol.
Thank you for this. When I put the rinse aid in, it seems like it drips down the door some. I didn't know if this was normal, but it looks like yours did the same thing. So this is normal right?
Our soap dispenser isn't opening at the right time. The cycle finishes, and we see the liquid detergent right below the dispenser. What might be causing this issue?
Does this dishwasher not have a compartment for salt? Unfortunately, none of my glasses would come out clean, so I thought some salt would help, however, I couldn't find a place where to add it... Do you know if you even can? I guess I will try some rinse aid
@Garagemonkey11575 supposed to rinse them. can you please subscribe to my channel? After years of making videos I am so close to making it to my first 100K subscribers!
Thank you I did not know how to put the pods in or the rinse aid. Whenever I would put the pods in where you put it and tried to close the door it would slide back to the precast side and the pod would drop into the dishwasher.
So, your whirlpool is playing the silent game, huh? Check the display or manual to see how it signals the end of the cycle. Let us know if you need more help with it!
Question about the rinse aid. I just got a new dishwasher and I put in the rinse aid. As soon as I put it in, it was immediately leaking out the back. Is that a manufacturer defect?
Ive just got a whirlpool dishwasher almost the same lookong as yours. However, ive loaded it up, turned it on, started it up, but the incubation pump has not come one not one time. It keeps on filling and draining but its not recirculating the water within the machine. Is my machine defective or something
@@bettyRN we returned it since my dad didn't wanna go through the process and I recommend him an lg dishwasher with the quad alternating wash arms and its really good and quiet
Is the rinse aid absolutely necessary. Probably a dumb question. This is our first dishwasher and we've only been trying the detergent but it never seems to dispense correctly and wash the dishes.
@ted1168 it isn't absolutely necessary, but it will help with keeping your dishes, spot, free and ensuring that they're dry when the cycle is complete. Some people have opted to air dry the dishes as an option.
When the wash is completed and I open the dish washer again, should I find the rinse aid dispenser lid to be open or closed? I keep finding it closed which makes me wonder if any rinse aid came out
Hi, thanks for the video, my question is for just normal washing of rinsed items is'nt 3 hours a bit long for the dishwasher to clean, my old one only took about an hour for normal cleaning. Is there a way to reduce the time?
I have a similar dish washer with everything buy the digital display...won't start, all lights work but when I push to start the tiny light on the door is blue then in about 30-40 seconds it turns red then off in a few seconds. Any ideas...model WDT750SAHZ0
Is there a way to interrupt a wash cycle in order to add a glass or plate without cancelling out the whole wash cycle? (I just got a new Whirlpool dishwater today and am using it for the first time.)
An odd problem with our whirlpool dishwasher purchased 9/2021. After we run the dishwasher, we sometimes open the door to find the soap dispenser has opened but part of the cascade soap pod has stuck inside the dispenser. Most of it is gone, but a significant chunk just remains stuck to the dispenser, undissolved. Any suggestions?
Same happened in my old dishwasher. We think it was from shutting the door to hard before starting the cycle. When we shut it slowly it never happened.
Can you please explain how to know if I need to add rinse aid. I do not understand by the pictures what I am actually looking for or how the indicator works. Does the black circle drop down or light up or change color? It has never looked any different to me since day one. Thank you !!
@@DIYPinto my clear circle is completely dry inside and the rinse agent only stays in the "fill" area, never goes down or changes no matter what number I put the dial on.
I have this same exact model, for some reason the rinse aid stopped being dispensed a few days ago. The receptacle is full, it just never dispenses. Any ideas why?
Ok, thanks good video. We need to replace our old dishwasher. We also need a black stainless and Whirlpool seems to be the only brand to get. Is this your model number by chance? WDT750SAHV I saw only 4 to choose from. Thanks so much!
Yesterday was the First time using a dishwasher ever 😅...I had chose whirlpool because of good reviews...when I loaded my dishwasher I chose 1hr wash and heat fan dry and when it was done my dishes were drenched in water...I used cascade platinum pods I was told I didn’t need a rinse aid that it’s included in the pods? Not sure
My favorite is cascade rinse aid but if they don’t have it I’ll use “Finish Rinse Aid” or “ Target Brand Rinse Aid”. Rinse aid allows you dishes to dry better. Below is a video I made adding rinse aid to my Whirlpool dishwasher. How to add dishwasher rinse aid without spilling it all over the place ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5E9XZWrlnpk.html
I have the same dishwasher...I dont have a liquid rinse dispenser I only have the finish powerballs. Can I just use that by it selfish without the liquid dispenser?
I just bought this dishwasher sinceit was theonly one I could get in white. My previous whirlpool, I had for 20 years. It had the silver ware caddy in the door. I wish whirlpool still made that. Anyways the repair guy that came out to look at my old one said 1)the new ones don't work as well and don't last. 2) You HAVE to use the rinse aid, otherwise the rinse doesn't work.
@@DIYPinto either that or whirlpool fixes it by the time I buy one. I assume I won’t be in the market for another 6-10 years if this thing lasts like they say they do.
