FINALLY!!! ...An excellent instructional/informational video that actually IS a "how to"/ "repair" video as stated. ( Not to offend anyone...just an observation... but it seems that so many videos described as "instructional" or "how to" videos lately either carry on & on, while others leave you scratching your head because it contains zero pertinent information of the described title. You give a lot of information & explanation in a short amount of time! Simple, Straight forward, to the point & extremely knowledgeable! Thank you! 🌴🌺🤙🙂🤙🌺🌴

I want to thank and commend you. I watched several videos today in hopes of figuring out what I needed to do to simply "clean out my dryer trap". These videos had me totally convinced I was gonna have to take my dryer through the house and break it down to parade rest just to clean it what took removing one panel without even moving anything other than opening the drawer. I feel blessed that your video gave me insight on how to fix any future issues that may arise with this machine. Again I thank you

First video to show the same model duet as we have (yay!). But, how to actually replace the heating element? Other vids showing taking off the front panel and door, but while duets as well, they have the control panel connected different than this one. ---------------------------- Based on your video and another video, I figured out that I didn't need to take everything off after all and managed to pull the heating element tube out fairly easy. Thanks!

Thank you. I had replaced the heat element and the thermostats, thermal fuse and thermistor and it still wasn't heating. This helped me se how to get to the control panel. New ones were no longer available but I ordered a used one on Amazon and it now works.

THANK YOU! this information is just what I was looking for to clean out all lint and dirt- our clothes were coming-out stinky like dirty dog for the first time in 4 yrs. of having them- dryer seems to be the culprit. Cleaned the back inside of dryer also. (have 2 dogs LOL)

Our dryers computer seems to come on, the door locks, and the drier turns on, but the cycle never starts (the drum doesn't start spinning and it stays on sensing). What should we check for this?

Hey Reggie our dryer is that exact model and a few days ago the control board stopped working with no apparent reason. The heating element is brand new. It works random times sometimes.

Hi I have a Whirlpool duet dryer that does not want to Turn on It'll work fine for a couple of weeks then it'll turn off and will not turn back on I will unplug it for a week or so and it'll start working again what can be the problem Sincerely Henry

Thanks for the video. I have the exact same dryer, the problem I have been having is with the panel - it does not light up every now and then, so I cannot run the dryer. It eventually comes back on in a day or two suddenly and the dryer runs just fine. This has happened more regularly in the last two months. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks.

I have the same dryer and today the plastic cover on the dryer door blew off. The dryer still works. It’s just the clear cover won’t go on without some kind of adhesive and I wondered what can I tape it back on?

Great Video! Have a same dryer, had replaced both regulator and high limit switch 3 times, only lasted one cycle and again no heat. Element is in good condition and heating every time after changing the switch. Control board looks good with no sign of any burns. Vent is very cleaned and without any kinks in it, not sure how to fix now. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks

Our Whirlpool Duet power button will not power the dryer on, yet the drum light comes on. Any ideas?

What about thermistor? I replaced and worked one day. Then stopped no power nothing. I ordered brand new one and replaced. Still does nothing everything else is good with ohlm test. Lid switch works. Computer looks good and control board as well. Wire connected to thermistor looked burnt on one wire I checked wire and cut of burned end and put new connections on, still nothing. Can you help please?

I had labeled the dryer element wire connector being top and bottom but have had the stickers fall off. Can you help remind which one goes where? DOES THE WIRE FROM THE THERMOSTAT CONNECT TO THE BOTTOM OR TOP ELEMENT CONNECTOR?

I have the same dryer. I replaced the drum rollers then when I went to put everything back together the dryer display turns on but the dryer does NOT start. Also unable to select different dryer heat modes when turning the knob. Already replaced the door switch and it did NOT fix the issue.

I had a bad heating element and replaced that as well as all the fuses about 6 months ago. My dryer isn't generating any heat right now, so I will check the element again tonight. My wife just told me now that she noticed a few weeks ago that even in the air dry/fluff mode that the dryer was getting hot. Is there a way for me to run a dryer self-diagnostic? My thought is the computer has gone bad and that is why it was generating heat in air dry mode? Thanks in advance.

Hi Reggie - Gas Dryer Whirlpool Gold Duet GEW9250PW. Start click noise is quieter. Then "SENSING" light on, among others. The dryer will not run. After cleaning the all lint ducts from inside to outside what do you think I will need to do? Thanks in advance and for your helpful video. ~Gina

I have the Duet Steam model. My son sat in the dryer (145 lbs). Now the steam nozzle is always on; soaking the clothes Would his additional weight break an internal hose or something? Or should I try replacing the steam nozzle first? Thanks in advance.

I have a Whirlpool compact front load dryer model WED7500VW that I need to change the start capacitor and do not know how to get to it. Front panel screws are to close to the drum to unscrew and back panel supports the drum. Any ideas?

Hey Reggie - I just got my duet from my mother and decided to give it a try and it doesn't cut off when it should. It will show 5 mins left but then runs for another 30 mins. Am i missing something? The heat works fine. I have no instruction manual and not sure if its user error. Thanks in advance!

Hey Reggie, I have the same type dryer. The element heats for 5 minutes then it shuts down and trips the thermal fuse. Cleaning the lint out did not correct the problem. Do you you have any idea what the problem may be? Thx, mik
