I wish to do that, but my Mother won’t let me, as less than 4 years ago, after me & my Family moved to a New House in October 2017 & got that Washer with a Matching Electric Dryer, as it was under Warranty at the time for a year, even with the Warranty now expired, my Mother thinks that running the Washers with the Lid open is illegal & it’s not illegal at all, as if it was illegal, then anybody doing so would be arrested for it, which would then be 100% unfair & completely unable to see the Action in them or whatever.
Wow needed this video!!! I recently got a new one and I just couldn’t figure out how to operate it, since I’m accustom to pulling the knobs to get it going. Thank you
Just got this and still getting the hang of it. But what cycles are just good for a 30 min wash.. Did one with Light and Deep wash (because I read thats for adding more water) and 1 Rinse with softener. But it took an hour to do a load. Any help advice appreciated.
I have a similar one I bought March last year. It doesn’t agitate like how yours agitate and clothes come out still looking the same as when you load them in the drum, except they’re wet. It’s annoying when you spend money and I don’t even use it because it doesn’t wash the clothes clean.
Best suggesting is lighter loads using the heavy settings. You can dump a couple of pitchers of water on the clothes before you start the cycle…that will make the washer think it’s a heavier load and will use a bit more water, which could help.
I have watched several videos of you and all are great. Thanks! I am looking for a pair of washer and dryer for my new home and would love to know your opinion. Which type of washer do you like better, HE vs traditional, front loader vs top loader? Also, what are your top three brands that are most reliable?
If buying brand new, front loaders, Whirlpool or Maytag, as long as you commit to the maintenance needed like cleaning the machine every 30 days and the pump filter. If buying used, I like traditional top loaders Kenmore, Whirlpool. Amana, Inglis, Roper, estate. I do not like LG or GE in any style, and Samsungs are hit or miss.
Looking at that Washer Model via Google Images that you’ve mentioned in your Comment there, I’m not sure if that Washer would be a US Washer, as it feels more like if it’s a Washer made for a different Country. I mean, if the Washer you’ve mentioned is a US Washer, then maybe it’d be nice to see some Full Cycles on it, if it was to be mentioned & requested to Kirk Rivas for him to do some Videos of. 🤔 Some Washers I wish to see by Kirk Rivas though, there’s like a lot, but to name some of them, I’m wishing to see the Maytag Washer Models MVWC200XW, MVWC300XW, MVWC350AW, MVWC400XW, & MVWC450XW, plus I’m wishing to see the MVWC565FW Maytag Washer run with Extra Rinse turned on (2 Rinses selected…).
Man, it’s so indecisive for me. Should I get an Agitator or Impeller? Agitators wash faster, but the Spin Cycle isn’t really fast. Impellers use less water, cleans okay, spins faster than Agitators.
Bought the set ...it's driving me insane. Once it gets to rinse it returns to wash n stays there. It's leaving my clothes wet. Any suggestions? What's the best general setting? Do you have to use softener can it just stay in option 1 Dryer it doesn't get hot like use to. When done I have to re dry. I'm losing it 😏
Make sure you are using HE soap, and that you're not over loading it. These HE machines do much better with smaller loads. Take the vent hose off the back of your dryer and check for blockages, and if you have a leaf blower blow out the vent hose and hopefully it will clear out any obstructions where ever it blows outside the house. I have to do mine every 6 months because it goes straight up to the roof. Good luck!
@@ericastewart9128 Heyyyy I got those two exchanged it was a nightmare. Have you considered exchanging them cause it's NOT your fault. It's a manufacturer problem, look into it. Best wishes
I strongly recommend not using fabric softener in an HE machine. I personally don’t use it in any machine due to its extremely sticky nature and the gumming effect it has on washers in general. I add an extra fabric softener sheet to my clothes in the dryer.
First use and it sucks, Will not spin at all, I have all settings correct, and a very light load, This is my fifth time trying to get it to spin . should I return it.
Without a dedicated spot, you would follow the instructions for adding it on the bottle of fabric softener. That being said, fabric softener is extremely hard on washers getting them gunky. I recommend adding an extra fabric softener sheet to the dryer, or if using the fabric softener in the washer, only using half the amount recommended. Be sure to get that monthly cleaning cycle in the washer to reduce buildup. Good luck!!
I have the same washer. My washer sounds like a tank . Yours in the video is so quiet. When my whirlpool washer changing cycles you can here clank and clack and some kinda grinding .... oh and when spin cycle starts the noise get louder. This has been happening the first day we got it .. Can YOU or anyone out there please help TROUBLESHOOT THIS TANK . I have no problem fixing it just need to find out where to START. THANKS. MIKE g
I totally agree. Doesn't fill with enough water and clothes don't smell clean. Overpriced garbage machine. I had an older whirlpool washer that washed way better. I've had machine only a month and don't want it. I'd rather go to used appliance store and buy good, older machine. Not sure if I'd be able to sell this one. So disappointing.
Same. I’ve had this washer for 5 years and I hate that the water doesn’t fill all the way and my clothes don’t smell clean. I now wash everything in bulky and heavy soil just to get enough water around my clothes. I also agitate the clothes with my hands inside the machine during wash so I know that they’ve been submerged. Otherwise, the top clothes don’t even touch the soapy water. And no, I’m not overloading it either.
A tub full of water and an agitator gets clothes clean. These impeller washers do not uses enough water and the impeller produces no turnover. The only viable option in choosing a washer is Speed Queen or the GE GTW460/465.
Mine just stopped, got stuck on lock, I used a screwdriver to open, and all it does is click! This washer is only 2 years old and only me in the home! Waste of money
@@mandalorian3613 the HE machines are junk. They don't clean clothes like old style machines. Green technology products are subpar and i personally hate them.
