This is a great video. Thank you for providing it. The Whirlpool website and call site were both useless. They couldn't even tell me which filter to buy even though I gave them my model number......and they had a long list of filter sizes!

Just bought a new OTC Whirlpool microwave, read online that it had a charcoal filter. Thank you for your video, now I know where it's at.

Thanks for the video. It is just what I needed. I've been in my house over a year, and I just realized there is no filter installed! smh My microwave has two fan bays. The filter clearly goes over the left bay, but it's weird that the filters wouldn't go over both fans.

Exactly. Air still comes out the right side unfiltered.

Hi, Great video. I have this same microwave/hood, and it vents through the wall directly behind the microwave. The vent outside is opening when exhaust fan is on, however when I open up the top area of the microwave to check/change the charcoal filter, that whole area is full of grease. Any idea what could be going on up there? Thanks

Just looked at my microwave which looks exactly like the one in the video. Why the heck is there a filter only on the left side? The right side sends air unfiltered back into the kitchen!
