@@cyneater6300 well that sucks. I used to watch this channel about 7 years ago. I haven't watched any of it until lately, and learnt of his passing. Rip mate, keep destroying dryers in heaven 🤙🤙
The original vid got me signed up, glad I did, always entertained me... thanks dude, you tinker with stuff I won't likely get a chance to tinker with and wouldn't know what to do with half the time anyway! :-)
I have always wondered at the back your house you have what looks like a packaged air conditioning unit with dual fans, I have seen them in your videos for quite a while why haven't you scrapped them yet, or at least done an autopsy, if you don't know what units I'm talking about there by the little white car also you have a window air conditioner in your house to the left of them.
Awesome, Great to have this behind the scenes look! I posted a link to this in my Decimated Death Metal Moshing Machine vid with the original footage I "borrowed" man... don't sue! "Either way this things gonna RocknRoll", lol... you got that part right!
@@washingmachinekid5403 No man, I didn't at all. I commented on more than a few of his vids just discovered the channel a month or two ago. That sucks bigtime.
Kind of late of a reply, but if you take the variac apart and move the line connection to the centre of the coil, rather than near the edge, you have overwind up to 480v.
Ah yes! :D I remember this one. This was waaaaay too funny, when the drum started going walkabout in the garden. :D All that space (ok, its walkabout was limited by the length of the power cord :D) and the motor STILL managed to find some metal and have a right good old grind-up at the end. :D Thanxx for showing, -BoomBoxDeluxe. _6th September 2014, 16.03_
***** Hi. When I said 'walkabout in the garden', I was making reference to this video. What is shown in this vid, is the lead-up to the washing machine which went absolutely loopy, broke free from its casing and even then......it kept on going and the drum assembly (while still powered-up and spinning!) went for a walkabout around Aussie50's garden. :D -BoomBoxDeluxe.
My old all steel Gorenje, even with the counterweights removed still weighs a lot. Goes to show how cheapo these new machines are. The only plastic i found when i took it apart to change all the replaceable bits were the front fascia, the door ornament some mounts, the tray box and the pump receiver.
Aussie50 yeah. my gaming computer has a highly over clocked core 2 quad and it will handle everything you throw at it. the only thing that you can find at best is pentiums. but in a few years i think we will be seeing i3s and core 2 duos.
It's always nice to see a Whirlpool die, cheap and nasty junk they are... :P Couldn't do this to my Creda though (built on the old 80's Hotpoint WM series designs, stupidly reliable they are!!), even though it's spider broke recently, it was easy (in a pain in the arse way) to fix and put back into service, but a whirlpool, nah, they're built to be destroyed, along with the unreliable modern Indeshit-Hotpoints... :D
Sam Sitar Nah, that's more for certain Photonicinduction sorts with Zanussi washers to do, he did pioneer the crazy washing machine destruction vids after all... :D
As far as I'm aware, the only difference between a 95 and a WM series is the timer boards were re-done to provide a smoother wash action (ramping up the motor rather than just a solid On/Off state), aswell as a few other tweaks, but that said my Creda dropped it's lower weight a couple years back and shook itself to bits (and I wasn't around to watch the mess happen!!!), so I got a Hotpoint WM53 to replace it, same stuff on the inside, so I have plenty of parts to keep it going... :)
