Excellent How-to demonstration video. I appreciate the clarity of the instructions, the close-up view of every steps, parts and area involved, and addition of notes and part numbers. Attention to details without skipping steps overall makes this an excellent instruction video. Please keep up the good work.

Replaced suspension rods and still didn't solve the problem. Then I replaced Washer Drive Block which solved the problem. Definitely get yourself the spanner wrench. It's worth it! I tried to remove it first without the spanner wrench and it didn't work. Once I got the spanner wrench, it was super easy. Replacing the Washer Drive Block solved the possesed washer machine problem.

I'm sorry but if any repair man didn't clean or allow me to clean those gunky parts while they were off, is not detailed or some one I want working on my appliances.
@Rexx Seven I took my washer apart completely last May and did the needed replacement of the spinner tub base stand myself. Arter 30 years of use their wasn't too much build-up between the two tubs. There was a lot of lint on the lint trap beneath the inner tub. That was where most of my build-up was. So while waiting for my new support base I cleaned and removed rust and repainted some parts that around the transmission support and frame that needed it. I pulled and checked the brake for wear and checked all parts for wear. All good now. Works like new. Just the leaky tub seal damaged my support base and there was too much rust on it to save so a new one did the trick. Good as new, and squeaky clean. Thanks for the tips on detergents. Which do you suggest using? I was using Gain powder and didnt seem to get a lot of gunk. I also use a little 20 Mule Team Borax which softens the water and keeps mold at bay. I'm sure that is the reason way my washer didn't look as gunky as this one did, but still cleaned it up nicely.
