Mike is absolutely right about the lacing technique. It's usually referred to as heel locking because it locks your heel and ankle in place and not moving around. It's great to make sure that you don't get blisters on your heel.

Hello Fleur, I used to live in Paris and you’re right, the light there is exquisite. Also, there is no city in the World, that I have visited, who knows how to do Christmas lights quite like Paris. I was a nike run club trainer & MDF is right!!! It is better for ankle support. Also, if you have shin splints a good cushion is important & getting something for over pronation. Good choice MDF! I personally love the Nike zoom fly fly knit version.
The Nike Pegasus was what I used in high school for my cross country and track days! Our coach (mom and son, actually) we’re both in the Olympics and THEY recommended the Pegasus 👍🏻😎
Mike is right about tying the shoes like that. My podiatrist when I was having foot problems tied my shoes like that because of the extra support it gives 😊
Oh I have been thinking of doing a 10k for soo long just dont have enough motivation and someone to help with with the training.Its so great that you have Mike with all the knowldge beforehand😀😉
If you have shin splints you should definitely go to a specialist running shop and get your running gait analysis done. What works for Mike may not work for you. Good luck. X
Oh girl the eurostar might have been amazing but now with brexit and the custom strikes it might not be anymore! I had my first eurostar experience last weekend and I was lucky as I have a European biometric passport so it only took me an hour to get through customs, others were waiting there all day and the trains were not travelling full
Paris is a lovely place was there for my 30th birthday surprise is my second place I wanted to visit on my list of travels. Definitely would love to go back. My first favourite is Rome. And 3rd Japan. I always love Dior jewellery and perfume and lip products.
