I was pretty disappointed with this years flaming heart. The flavors felt like they were fighting each other more than adding to each other. Not a bad whisky but not as good as their other releases by far. Happy to see you guys review this one. Merry Christmas!
Favorite Christmas Eve tradition is Iceland’s Jolabokaflod (book flood). They exchange books and read while drinking hot chocolate. Substitute a Compass Box and it’s perfect.

I bought a couple of bottles of the 2015 Flaming Heart for £70 each (I still have 1 unopened) but the 2018 is, as you said, not as good and costs around £120. The 2015 was definitely worth what I paid but the 2018, In my opinion, is not worth anything like what it is currently going for.
WTF, you are an hour earlier than usual, keep SOME consistency, also I had this at a premium spirit release event my government liqour store puts on, so I technically mooched it, but I bought a bottle of sexton while I was there, so not really.

Can anyone tell me how this bottle of Flaming Heart I can buy @ $130 US compares to Ardbeg Corryvreckan and Uigeadail I just purchased at $75 and $60 ? Is it twice as good as these?

I recall a very clear and lucid offer you made to all of us, during a particular live stream, so I'll show up around noon. You didn't mention a limit on guests, so I'll be bringing a small group of about 34 friends, acquaintances, and a guy who sleeps behind the dumpster by my local Walmart, with me. If you could have the whisky all set up and ready for everyone, that would make the mooching considerably easier. Also, none of us will be bringing food, so if you could make arrangements for that as well, it would be vaguely appreciated. Oh, and since we're traveling pretty far, we're probably gonna need to crash at your place for the night. Thanks in advance for your hospitality, and your wonderful, generous, and kind offer. Anyone here tried the old mortlach 18 with the metal bits at the bottom of the bottle? I have the 16 year old distillers dram but I keep hearing the 18 was way better

We’re about six months behind getting caught up on donated whiskeys. The grand opening of the distillery is really what pushed us over the edge. You magnificent bastard‘s are freakishly generous.
