The amazing part about this style of music is that everything he is doing on the guitar is so simple-no hard cords no crazy strumming patterns- there are very few people who could actually "play" this style of music just so much soul and feel in it.

I can practically hear the cicadas droning, a rumbling, 76' chevy with a broken muffler off in the distance, see a fat, handle-bar mustachioed, white-but-red-faced sherriff snoozing in his patrol car (which still has one of those police lights that you have to manually put in place), and a few buzzards flying over the small lake that is stagnant, covered in algae and home to several large bullfrogs that croak deep into the night. The south is a strange place, man.
