Jan Paul thanks for your comment my friend, i really research my whisky before purchasing, so touch wood up until now i have been very lucky and no bad one so far, i have had a few that have maybe disappointed but i am giving them time to improve...

the whisky friend I have had the Benromach 10, 15 and Organic. The 15, imo, is tops! All have been good though. It’s one of my favourite distilleries and I’m seriously considering purchasing the Benromach 20 year old.
It's nice to see a speyside whisky doing well! It's definitely a region that could be producing more 'integrity' bottlings as Ralfy calls it. Those shelves looks fantastic in the background (especially that group of Longmorns!). Would be great to see a full tour of your collection in a video sometime in the future!
In the Houston TX area Benromach is almost impossible to find. The bottles I found hit the area in 2015 and sat on the shelves. I bought up what I could but that is it. I know in the Pennsylvania area they get Benormach on the regular.
Alan, love the background. Your collection looks most like a well kept high-end liquor store than any other whisky channel. The Benromach, unfortunately, is one I've never can find locally. I'm in Virginia, USA, where all liquor sales are done in state run shops. So we tend to get only the high volume, big brands. Great job.

My favorite video was where you discussed how you got into collecting whisky and why. It is so true that there are very few places to put your money these days to get a good return. I invest in many areas. My whisky collection is rather small and I intend on drinking all my bottles but I do agree that it is a store of value in the current fiat system. I am in Washington state USA . I started my whiskey(y) journey with bourbon in the late summer of 2016 and quickly got into Irish, rye and Scotch. Currently I drink more Scotch than anything else but I still have a few unopened bourbons I am working my way through. I seem to like the lightly peated sherry aged whisky the best. I have loved all true Springbanks I have tried, but I will say the GlenDronach 18 and the Balblair 1990 (27 year) are my favorite to date. I look forward to watching more of your videos. I am subscribed to you as of last week! I have tried Ardbeg Uigeadail but I was comparing it to the Laphroaig quarter cask and seemed to like the quarter cask better. I have not really entered the realm of heavily peated whisky. I just picked up a Ledaig 10. When I get through my winter bottles I look forward to opening it. Cheers!

Great review, Alan! I thrust you, so I ordered a bottle 😊. It was £69 here in Norway 😳 I decided that I need to have a couple of 10y integrity bottlings. I am thinking of the Springbank 10 as well. So Benromach only use first fill? wow, I didn’t know that.
hi Rolf it is a good bottle i can get it here for £35 -£40 so its £69 in Norway WOW...Im sure you will enjoy it, yes amazing eh first fill everything, check out Benromach website its very interesting they do everything the old way, if you do enjoy this, the 100 proof bottle is also fantastic..the springbank 10 ...i have an unopened bottle so a video maybe coming your way soon my friend....let me know how you get on with the benromach 10..cheers pal...
