Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure there's not like a road going to an active volcano in Hawaii. It would have to be on the Big island. I mean guys haha I don't think this is possible. God it feels so weird, Dan is the reason I really got into motorcycles (when I was 15, a sophomore in high school) and now I’m 22 planing on taking the MSF course next spring.
That’s crazy to think of it that way, I’m turning 19 in a few months and here I am with a Harley and an mt07 I just bought last week. If it wasn’t for dans motovlogs I prolly would’nt have been so interested.
That truck in the ocean vid was dope af! He missed an opportunity to place some paddles between the wheels so it could actually move quickly in the water. But besides that it was awesome.
Hey man I know you probably won’t see this but I just wanted to say thanks. I’ve been watching your videos since I was a kid in high school. These Motovlogs have always either pulled me out of depressive slumps or atleast helped distract me and make me feel better for the moment from back in the day when my mom kicked me out the house I would just post up on the local malls roof and watch your videos to now with pressure on me from kids & starting my own business and everything in between. These vlogs have always brought me peace man, can’t wait to get a bike again this year. Last bike I had we blew the engine after working on it all summer 😂 thank you though man seriously
As someone who lives on Hawaii island... I understand the "hate" that he (WD) would get from proposing this idea as the volcano itself is considered deity (Madam Pele). The childish idea of a truck flying into a volcano sounds hilarious, but the volcano on Hawaii island isn't that and despite what WD envisions, etc, etc. He's not going to get that chance here. There's a ton of issues just from a legal standpoint (The volcano (Kilauea) and surrounding area is federally protected & state protected land), not to mention the cultural impact that makes Hawaii not the place for it. I do think that the logistics can be overcome (heat shields, etc to allow the truck to drive (remotely) on fresh lava, et al... If he can get someplace else to sign off on it, then I'm game to watch.
Pretty much. Actual native Hawaiian here. Honestly, if he wanted to try, I'd pay for the PPV too. No remote driving the truck though - get inside, roll coal, and let pele decide fate lmfao.
Not a local Hawaiian here lol but I whole heartedly agree. Would love to see it happen just without breaking any major laws like trespassing on federal land. Especially when it’s something that’s considered sacred or has more value that just regular land.

I started watching WD because of his Hilux testing, and damn he actually tested the fuck out of that little truck, like because of his series on that I intend on buying a Tacoma now lmao
I think that WD is low key a business genus. Controversy stirs up views and subscribers and cash. I almost wonder if some of the “RU-vid beef” he has with other you tubers isn’t planned. I’m sure to some extent some are real but whoever he beef’s with grows their channel by 30-40 percent. I also think that a lot of people see people complaining about his videos and they seek it out, then they find out that he is pretty entertaining.
Am glad that others have brought me to your channel. This is a great video preaching some straight facts. WD is on his way to being a legend in his own life. Haters are nothing but great fuel.

If you turned left instead of right @8:45 then turned right at the end of the road there’s a hilly twisty road back there, then you turn right at the end of the road and the next left and you can get to highway 61 north of Villa Rica, just so you know

I personally just don't think someone should come to the islands and disturb the culture here. Volcanos and land in general are very important to the Hawaiian people. Its wrong to go to someone's home that you know their culture takes shoes off at the door and walk through their house with your work boots on.
I got a Honda rebel 250 and it slipped out of 3rd a few times and I won't to town a few days later and my couch was slipping really bad. I think I need a clutch now. But it's got just under 10000 Miles on it now. Probably was time to get a new one

yo dan i’ve been watching your vids since i was 15 and i am 19 now and yesterday i got my first bike because of the pure inspiration you gave me through out the last couple of years! just wanted to say keep on doing what you’re doing man! also i got a 2007 zx10r!! probably not the best idea to learn on a 1000cc but i like to go fast 😂
