Whitby Abbey Monastery ruins and Whitby Harbour plus West Cliff Seafront and St Marys Graveyard, nicely illuminated by the stunning sunset on this early spring evening.
Dating back from 657 , the abbey remains are 1500years old , its done pretty well to even have the ruins seen here still standing ! Now an English Heritage grade 1 listed building tourist attraction, and a well known landmark of Whitby, along with the ancient Graveyard nearby, where buried skeletons were getting washed down the steep slope into Whitby town in the 2007 floods !
Filmed on the night that fireworks were lit on the harbour wall to celebrate the queens platinum Jubilee.
