Heard this anime was outsourced to 2 different companies and it was such trash they had to remove it, so its possible the bland backgrounds and cgi were rushed out.
“All I wanted to do was protect my students.” Well, keeping them as far away from the Elf Forest would have probably been a good start. They all die there.
Remember: "they die in different moments before 20, and she changed some endings" if the sensei didn't acted (yes potimas screw her also) many students qould be already death. In this isekai the only "lucky" is the prince all the others have almost zero chance (even sophia in some scenarios) she saved them but with high cost
@@Animusfortemorty Except that we know that the 'system' is written by D and actively lies. My opinion is that the system actively lied and lead to this outcome due to D's known misanthropism.
@@nothanson2429 If you've payed attention as an anime only watcher, it's pretty obvious. She makes a major appearance soon after it was revealed in different times, she has no speaking lines, and has an op power like Rot which no one else has shown yet. Go the extra mile with her having white hair.
@@yep1486 oh right, he comes in at the last second in this scene. Not him. Hugo. Shun is so insignificant, so inconsequential that none of the players in this game have bothered to try and manipulate him.
I mean, to be fair it’s a bit more than that. His father is dead, the comfortable life he has known has been stripped from him, and his sister is (as far as he knows) enslaved by an evil megalomaniac with a vendetta against him. Other people in the class have certainly had it worse, but that doesn’t mean everything in Shun’s life is coming up roses
@@olorinmagus4479 I mean he only has to face hardship starting now while the other has to face it as soon as they were born. To be fair, his hardship is not even close to Julius and sophia much less Kumoko and Wraith.
Yes hahahahaha I still hate Hugo for killing the King and many people but the satisfaction on the Elves is just bliss. I just wish Oka was not stupid and blinded by it
It's just a pity that sensei seems unaware that she's being taken advantage of. Potimas manipulates, well, pretty much everyone and everything, to his own ends. He makes Hugo look like an amateur. Many of the students recognise this (to some degree), but the teacher misses it because Potimas is deliberately deceiving her. She's also placing their lives above their welfare (in the "better to die free than live as a slave" sense.)
@@jgon12 The way they're portrayed, nearly all of the elves are elven supremacists, on top of being pompous dicks. If they were given a button that wiped out all other sentient races, most would likely press that button, and some would mash that button repeatedly with a smile on their face.
spoiler. Her 8 spiders eyes from the bottom part of her "hybrid" form are hidden in her 2 eyes when she is in her full human form. Hence why she keep them closed. So the op statement is... this barrier was weak enough for white to get rid of it barely using any of her powers.
@@cumjesus I think this fight is in the 5th LN. Somewhere in there. The next few books basically deal entirely with White and the events that lead up to the war. The problem with this anime is that it... jumps around a lot and changes too many details. You can almost read the LN as a separate story at this point. The first 3 or 4 books I think covers up to when our protagonist fights her Mother. It's a more interesting battle in the book. Basically, our Protagonist spider buddy becomes super OP in a VERY short amount of time and by the end of like Book 2, already knows the secret of the world due to having maxed out Taboo (the secret of which, by the way, is super heavily spoiled by the vision she gets in this anime).
@@jairomurcia4391 sorry i am very ignorant: for kuromo you mean the protagonist spider? If yes is this some sort of time travel bullshit? And why is she helping the one who wants to kill her?
@@no_name4796 It's a flash forward. No time travel. We're just seeing what happens on down the line. All the events will be explained, given time; as long as these last few episodes don't rush the plot. A second season would be great.
@@no_name4796 To simplify things: Kumoko is in the present. The Classmates are in the future. We see the aftermath of several things Kumoko did/was involved in in the Classmates time period. Like that giant hole they flew out of the cave from. That's where Mother blew out of to chase Kumoko on the surface.
To be honest, I was expecting for the barrier to be broken in a more spectacular manner like White enveloping the whole barrier in her magic then once enveloped it shatter and disperses in light.
She didn't use her own magic , the the light novel's narration is not subtle that she borrowed the power of an evil god. The novels don't show what she used to break the barrier yet as at this point it would raise FAR more questions than answers.
@@WeavileLady don't be impatient, if you follow the LN, this is Sclain POV, and belive me right after this POV end, we will get to see our lovely spider again, on her journey and how she became Shiaori xD
Gotta love how a guy in metal armor, and a damn dragon, were able to sneak to within like 5 feet of him unnoticed, Sophia obviously noticed, but didn't care.
Such a shame they didn’t keep the LN scene, Shirou used a golden baseball bat that was a one time use destroy-it-all item found in D’s room, that scene was hilarious
@@urt1202 Yep, that's about right (spoilers below) The elves basically are the worst faction in this since their leader just wants to steal souls to fuel his robots/do a bunch of dodgy mad science, and their population is too low for proper genetic diversity so they kidnap people and mutate them into elves. Also they're racist. And they're slowly destroying the world and environment.
The fact Nataume even said she just wanted to protect her students, and in the process the elves just massacred all their parelve, or bought then from the parents.. THAT LITERALLY BIRTHED THEM-
"Sometimes , the most horrific outcomes are born from the best of intentions" But DEAR GOD. I hate the teacher, she has this annoying trope of her type of character; The obsession of saving every one of her students. To the point that she is even purposefully looks the other way of the cruel deeds of Potimas after carelessly reveals the details surrounding her TRUE IDENTITY AND SKILL to the worst villain of all for the sake of 'saving everyone'. Hugo's one thing, but the teacher? All of this won't even happen if she kept her mouth shut and let nature take its course. But NOPE, her efforts to "save everyone" just made things worse.
@@griffeminie1697 By then it was already too late. Her biggest mistake was in her moment of desperation, she gave the information to that one that shouldn't have it if she wants to "save everyone".
same. she thinks she's responsible for her students' well-being. I mean like, if I was one of her students, I would've fled and avoid each and every one of the reincarnations I associated with in my past life.
And then there's Shun with the main character complex. Istg in his final battle he kept going instead of retreating thinking that the power of love and friendship will miraculously come through and give him power to defeat Sophia.
Will probably about 2 more episode to see kumoko arachne form since she is still at the war where she left off, cant wait to see her fight with potimas its really hilarious in the light novel
@@kenken21ful as of now the anime is based on the LN. the Web version is too long and have alot of scenarios that's not even present in the LN (im not saying is bad though i think it adds extra imo)
@@user-ot8wl7oh9s as i thought since the manga didn't really follow the anime, then i could speculate that the manga follows the WN and the anime follow the LN
Teacher, this is known as a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's when the actions you take to prevent a situation leads to the actual situation occurring. This has always been the central theme when it comes to future reading powers. It makes you wonder if you did nothing to stop it would it still lead to the future you foresee or does the mere fact that you saw the future is what leads to this future coming to pass in the first place? If you didn't know this you must not be too good at your job huh?
Yes, the events of Spider Kumiko we see are when the other reincarnations are still babies growing up that's why Sophia is grown up in this yet Kumiko knows her as a baby.
They should have done what the light novel did with this scene and had Shiraori yeet the barrier with a baseball bat(this is actually what she did(technically))
I don’t like how they showed her getting rid of the barrier here because in the LNs it wasn’t shown until the main story caught up to this part and also she did it in a much funnier way
Spoilers: If Hugo actually killed Sensei there, White probably would have Thanos snapped Hugo into dust and then had a strong word with Sophia. Sophia should know that too, so her inaction in that scene makes no sense.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sophia should be strong enought to easily stop hugo at any moment, she had the luxury of incation as she probably was able to sense shun and even if shun would not arrive on time, she would easily stop hugo attack
Doesn't he have a brain spider anyways? Shiro should be able to get him to stop herself at any time. Hell in the web novel she does just kill him at the moment shin would have shown up.
Man I really need watch the anime and stuff cause I only read some translated manga chapters. Things must get wild as fuck for a student to want kill the teacher
@@demoneon9527 pretty sure the manga never showed the human's side at all though, it was only in the novel (which im still waiting fot an update for) that showed both Kumoko's and the human's side of the story, the time-skip in the novel was confusing at first but after reading it more it became more interesting. Btw the human's side of the story ate ass, shit was barely entertaining to read so i mostly skimmed through them all while understanding and memorizing the important bits just so i dont feel lost or confused.
I wish they kept in how she did it in the LN, but I guess they couldn't show that at this point (since it would kill the tension lmao). When it panned to the reincarnations she probably took a step back and *menacingly pulled out the baseball bat*
The person that destroyed the barrier is the one responsible for the class to get transfered as well as being kumiko since she transfered half her soul to a spider in the classroom.
yeah everyone seems to hate Oka, but I see her as a tragic character. In the middle of a mental breakdown, she clings to the one thing that might keep her sane: her identity as a teacher. That informs her whole character and all of her actions. It also makes her the perfect victim for Potimas' manipulation. She has the best of intentions, but is so ignorant of the realities of the world (even willfully so) that she would happily leave it all to burn as long as she can save her students. She's not a good person. She's not a bad person. She's a useful idiot that unknowingly is the center of a huge conflict that she couldn't even imagine.
Elf : Our barrier is made of ma energy its impossible to break Shiraori : yeah and i got a golden bat from wakaba's place, her inner monologue (wait oh shit i wasnt supposed to say that),i mean d's place
Los elfos: nuestra barrera es indestructible..... Kumoko: y quién lo decidió????? Soy la única q decide.... *Hace mierda la barrera* Los elfos: vamos a morir todos.....
To keep things short the demon lord and her army (shiro, wrath sophia etc) are the heroes of the story due to the fact that they are actively trying to stop the destruction of the world. The humans and elves are the 'villians' for now but for the humans its not in the sense you may think. Its mostly due to their ignorance. The elves are truely evil especially their leader.
This anime really succeeds in pissing me off. Filimøs' blind ignorance, Hugo's very existence, and so many other things. All of it circling back to that singular piece of shit Elf.
The story is written like this, we follow a camp that has no information and therefore is manipulated from the beginning to the end because no one has bothered to reveal to them the real stakes of this war that takes place behind the scene.
