Hey! Beth I wanted to come meet you. I have a small business of baked goods and catering. The best part of your cooking is that you show options of making it without alcohol!
Gurrrl, I just had to STOP the video, to make a comment, after watching how well you explained how to brown butter. Oh my goodness, I believe I’m gonna be a better cook after I subscribe to your channel. I only like to cook for special occasions and holidays ( I hate cooking everyday dinners)I enjoy making things from recipes and trying new things. You explain so well I don’t see how anything could go wrong. I am so fired up, to get in the kitchen and get to cooking. New subscriber and thanks for what I think is gonna be my new favorite channel.
I just made these for the second time and did a another patch with Reese peanut butter chips and salted peanuts, turned out amazing. Tomorrow I think I’ll try dark chocolate chips and Walnuts. It’s the browned butter that makes this cookie so amazing. Thank you Beth and Merry Christmas to you & your family from our family in Fargo, ND.
I love this recipe Beth! I have made it about 4 times! The first time I made it I had to toss all of it as my “pinch” of salt made it inedible. Now I just leave out any pinches and it is perfection!
Just made them! I chopped up a bar of white chocolate instead of using white choc chips. Very delicious and the brown butter flavour just makes it extra special!
I’ll never forget white chocolate cranberry macadamia cookies I had on vacation when the idea was still brand new on the mass market, and these with the brown butter, even sans macadamias, are sure to be even better. Given my druthers (and infinite time and budget) I’d zhuzh ‘em up with candied diced ginger and orange peel curlicues for garnish, plus probably a dash of pumpkin pie spice! Great video as always, amazing quality and thoughtful practicality on this channel.❤
@@EntertainingWithBeth BTW, I highly recommend all 3 of these _together_ for another dose Fall goodness: pumpkin, cream cheese _and_ white chocolate. Those with some hazelnuts is heaven! Maybe a dash of maple?
@@EntertainingWithBeth I realize I should follow-up: extra-mile would be lightly blonde-ing the white chocolate. It turns almost sickly sweet in a flash, almost as dangerous as browning butter😄 But the results when it comes off well…!✨
Hi Beth! I hope you're doing well! I don't tend to comment on RU-vid but it's always nice to visit your videos every now and then. Been subscribed for almost 10 years now! I remember the first time you replied it was really sweet and I've been following ever since. Your recipes got me through high school, college, and even now as I'm pursuing my graduate degree. Thank you for being such a huge resource for when I'm not feeling so well and wanted to make something sweet to cheer me up, your recipes always feel like a warm hug :)
Awwww best comment ever! You just made my day! Im so happy you have enjoyed the videos all the years! Thank you so much for all the support!! You will LOVE these cookies! Super yummy!! Like a warm hug! Ha!! 💕💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing how to make this delicious cookies which I baked it just now.Im not a fan of cookies but this one is superb can’t resist it even if my blood sugar spikes lol ❤I tried your biscotti too the taste is good but it is just so hard that we have to dip it in our coffee to soften it a little . again thank you for sharing this recipes more recipes pls .🙏
Cinnamon is a great substitute for pumpkin spice. A local honey is very delicious in place of maple syrup. I have 2 hives in my backyard and local honey smells like a field of flowers and has a wonderful flavor vs nationally bottled honey. I use a fork to smash the sweet potatoes which are a SUPER FOOD! So good to see you cook such a nutritious food! Your videos are wonderful🎉
Yummy! It has been a bit since I have browned butter for a cookie. So looking forward to this lovely recipe. I was so excited to see what chips you were going to use. So happy to see that I have been picking the “right” white chocolate chips 😂😂😂 I have used others in the past, and have had some disappointing results. Another exciting recipe for the holidays ❤Thank you ❤
Thank you for always sharing your recipes and tips. You definitely brown your butter to a deeper depth than I have done…so I’ll grab my non-stick and give it a go. 😁
These are amazing! I didn't think you could top your brown butter chocolate chip cookies, but these are right up there. My husband loves coconut so I added some to half the batch, then I made a whole new batch for him with only coconut. He says it's impossible to choose a favorite.
I always love your recipes Beth. I can’t wait to make this one. They only problem is that my husband and son don’t like cranberries so I would have to bake them to share with neighbors so I don’t eat them all.
Ha! Yes! These cookies are perfect for gifting! Or you know what I do? Because my kids aren't a fan either, I freeze them in a ziplock bag and then wrap one in a paper towel or napkin, and microwave on high for 30-:45 for a freshly baked cookie anytime I want ha! :) You can stash a few away for that purpose too, after sharing a few with the neighbors of course! Ha! Enjoy!
I'm not a huge cookie fan, but my heart fluttered just a bit at these! I'm out at the moment, so I'll need to wait for Amazon to ship me some no-sugar dried cranberries and Lily's white chocolate chips. But this WILL be happening, keto or not! 😂😂 Thanks, Beth - your recipes are always easy to convert and I can still get good results. (Ghirardelli and Ocean Spray were my old faves - wish they'd make some products with some natural, non-sugar sweeteners... Maybe someday) Have a beautiful weekend! 💛🧡🌻🧡💛
Hi Beth, I love all your videos. I made the Apple Orange Cake in the springform pan and came out amazing. Then I made your Pumpkin Cream Cheese Pie and that was a hit. You got me very interested in this cookie recipe with the brown butter. I made these tonight and the house smells so good. I did have a problem. The cookies came out flat as crepes...I can't even say pancakes cause they are thinner than that😂😂. They taste delicious, thank God, so my family is enjoying them, but not for gift giving.😮😮 Beth, what did I do wrong? I followed precisely, even letting the butter cool down. Thank you all your awesome recipes that you share. 😊😊 Blessings.
Oh no! I wonder what happened! OK a couple of questions to help troubleshoot. Are you in the USA using imperial measurements? (Cups, teaspoons etc) 2.) Did you use stick butter and not margarine or whipped butter in a tub etc. 3.) Did you use the same quantity of chips and cranberries? Let me know and we'll find out what happened! But so glad the other recipes turned out great!
@EntertainingWithBeth Beth, Thank You! So glad you wrote back, especially since you are so busy. 1) I live in South Carolina, and use our measuring system. 2) Used a stick of butter. 3) I used 1/2 cup of each white chocolate and dried cranberries. The mixture was nice and stiff when I placed it on the cookie sheet. However, I made them a little less than 2 oz. I don't think that would have made a difference. Again, thank you so much!🙂
@alee9961 so weird! You might try them again and add another quarter cup of flour to see if that makes a difference but I have not had that experience with these cookies so I’m racking my brain to see what could have caused that. Or you could also, I supposed pop your tray in the freezer for a few minutes to set up that would prevent it from spreading too much as well. Keep me posted because now I’m so intrigued!
@@EntertainingWithBeth Oh my goodness, delicious!!! I used a cookie scoop and got 19 cookies. Never have browned butter for cookies but I think this makes all the difference. Also, I have never had a failure with any of your recipes. Thank you Beth!
I love this recipe; the cookies look perfect! Also I feel like this would be awesome to bake around Christmas too!❤ (Only thing with cookies is that they have too much sugar 😭)
I love this recipe idea for Thanksgiving! I always make brownies and pumpkin bars for dessert since we eat dessert much later while watching a movie. Going to add this for sure. I may try adding pecans, will that work?
Oh sure you could add those too! In that case I would do 1/3 cup chips, 1/3 cup cranberries and 1/3 cup pecans. Because with these cookies, you don't want to overload the "mix-ins" otherwise they don't spread and crackle as much :). Hope you enjoy!!
I love the touch of brown butter. Great idea with the white chocolate! Not living in the US I don’t have access to all those brands. I tend to use unsalted butter for baking -is that ok?
It yields a full dozen, but I only bake 6 at a time. You'll have the best, most even results that way. I prep the second tray while the first tray is baking. Hope you enjoy!
Oh yes, they totally do. I froze a batch from the shoot because I had so many leftover ha ha ha I put them in a Ziploc bag place them in the freezer and then any time I want a freshly baked cookie I put them in the microwave for 30 seconds they are delicious! 👌
Time to cut back on extra calories now so I can eat yummy holiday cookies between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Maybe a test run to make sure they're good. LOL
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 These look sooooooooo good and i want to make them soooo badly!!! But my oven is broken. Could i possibly make them then freeze? And maybe pop one or 2 in the airfryer? I NEED this cookie!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺
@EntertainingWithBeth haha! Thanks so MUCH! I didn't think it was possible, but I LOVE you even more now! 😍 😆 It's just about 19.30 here, so this will have to wait for tomorrow, but we are ON!!! Thanks so much Lovely Beth!
@@sa-eedadaniels6853 😂 I seldom use my actual oven - I use the air fryer for absolutely everything! Once you get used to the quirks of yours, you'll know exactly how to adjust it to bake or cook anything!
@Lucinda_Jackson Thanks! My children know how tp manage it better than what I do 🤣 We have a big 14l Airfryer, one of my son's friends thought it was a mini washing machine 😄 My problem with cookies in the Airfryer is that they don't always bake the same as they would in an oven, unless inhavent figured that part out as yet. I usually bake at 180⁰C for 12 minutes. Not sure if I should try a lower temp, do you think? My other issue is, I have 5 children, and my 5 year old thinks cookies are a food group 🤣🤣, so baking 2 to 3 at a time in the Airfryer will not be fun to watch 😆😄 unless they're for me 😭😭🤦♀️🤣
Sorry, I meant equal parts for the US measurements half cup measurements. But for metric system where the ingredients are weighed, the weight would be different because the sugars are different weights. Sorry for the confusion!
Professional geologist here that works as a sediment lab technician: I cannot express how giddy I got hearing you keep saying "sediment" and then tossing in that "wet sand", Beth. So many happy things all at once! I'm definitely brining a bath of these into the office!
