I had the pleasure of hearing this song first hand when it came out in 1973 from the original group Golden Earring. It was a jamming hit back then and these guys did it justice. Thank you for the upload of this classic song.

Saw White Lion when they opened for AC/DC in 1988 at the Jacksonville Coliseum. They blew AC/DC away. First time I'd ever heard Vito Bratta. What a badass fucking guitar player he is. Thought I was listening to EVH on that stage. The whole band was tight AF and Vito was on fire. Great Show!

White Lion was a great lil band....I saw them back in 1985 in a dive little bar in Pasadena, Md.....they opened up for Dirty Looks....I remember thinking this guitar player sounds just like Van Halen....Great cover,and the guitar fills and solo are outstanding

I still don't understand why Vito Bratta didn't get so much hype compared to the other rock guitarists. He's one of the coolest if not the coolest rock guitarist for me and Mike Tramp has that amazing raspy voice

I mean, what effect did he NOT use in this song? And the head nod to EVH with the cigarette on the stock? Epic cover. Dare I say this is the best version of the song including the original (no disrespect to Golden Earring at all! Imitation is the purest form of flattery!)?
