White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire is an explosion of fall colors in October. I’ll give credit to my brother who came up with the phrase, “It’s like a bowl of Skittles!”
We cover three scenic drives including The White Mountain Road, The Kancamagus (Kan-cah-mah-gus) Scenic Byway and The White Mountain Trail.

I have been loving watching your videos as we are getting ready to visit Acadia next week. Thanks for all the great tips! This video of the White Mountains had added another trip to my bucket list. I had a question for you. What do you use for your aerial footage? And also, I would love to start creating videos of our vacations for our family to share. Being new to it all, what editting software do you use? Thanks so much in advance for any help and advice!

Glad you like our videos. I hope you find inspiration and tips for your adventures. I do most everything on the cheap for my channel as it is just my hobby (for now). I'm on my 3rd drone; the first got stuck at the top of a tree, the second got hit by a bird above a lake and fell in. I say all that to advise not to spend too much on a drone and only as much as you can emotionally afford to lose. The financial loss is small compared to the emotional loss. My current drone is the DJI Mavic Mini (version 1). I've had this for over 3 years and LOVE it. My review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-odFLFT769js.html I use OpenShot Video Editor. It is FREE, not too difficult to use, and runs on my dated laptop.
