Ah, the other Werewolf of London. Beautiful. It's a favorite. I thought I saw Henry Hull early on, in the shape of the mouth. There hasn't been a werewolf makeup that so spoke to me until your own, recent take on "The Wolfman." Thanks for this post. BTW - I also love the Karl Hajos score.

this is brilliant! you are a definition of a true artist for me, Mr. Baker! and i must admit i've never really understood why people like to paint with oil paint. i tried it once and i absolutely hate it. i like paint to dry really fast, so i usually paint with acryllics. but one thing that never crossed my mind - you can wipe off the oil but you can't do that with an acryllic. such a basic thing but i've never thought of that. thank you for showing me that! i need to say sorry to my oils i guess. ;)

Fantastic. I didn't know you painted as well, but it makes sense, considering your profession. I especially like how you painted that particular werewolf. I've always liked the design of it. Something about the simplicity of him, and how he appears more human than most other styles makes him seem scarier, in my opinion. Not that there's anything wrong with the other styles, of course. I love them all for different reasons. And I guess the London werewolf makes me think of Elvis haha.

I've never done any painting. Are you using linseed oil or something on the q-tip and rag to remove the spot you want to change? It's almost like you're sculpting and painting at the same time. This is amazing.
