The white screen of death can appear in different places. In this case it's just in the WP Dashboard not the homepage. Sometimes it'll take down the whole site, other times just the front end, other times just he back end. Either way, this is a way to fix it.

Oh my goodness! My website was dead in the water with the white screen of death - both the website and the wordpress dashboard. I was so happy to find your tutorial. After changing the debugging from false to true and finding where the problem was, I found I needed to reinstall Wordpress. Since I knew everything was compatible with Wordpress 4.9, I downloaded that version and uploaded it to my cpanel. Everything works perfectly! Thank you so much for taking the time of going through all the details.

Great video. Great solution. As allways you are the guy who makes people happy with more videos about Wordpress. But I would do this in Filezilla which I am more familiar with. It surely fixes most common problems. But before you start with this solution I wouls suggest to deactivate all plugins and themes. Sometimes plugins causes problems as well of this kind such as Autopimize and SC Optimize do. They can't be used together.

in my own case, the admin panel loads up normally but the user page doesnt lpad but just shows wite, will this also work?

So I followed your instructions. Replaced the WP core folders/files except wp-contents and wp-config. My website went from working to FORBIDDEN. So I restored it to what it was before. Still FORBIDDEN. I re-uploaded the .htaccess file and overwrote the one on the server, renamed Plugins, checked all folder and file permissions. The website is still down. And I still cannot get into the admin page.

what about when it's not in admin but where the page is supposed to show, that is completely white? I cloned a page and now my page keeps showing blank

Any other methods to solve this problem? I have a white screen everywhere and cannot even log in to wordpress. Tried different solutions and nothing worked so far.

That's a hard one to diagnose without logging into your hosting account and seeing the files. Have you tried disabling all the plugins on your site? You can do that by changing the name of the "plugins" folder to anything other than "plugins". The "plugins" folder is inside the "wp-content" folder. Once you've changed the name of the plugins folder, refresh your site to see if it's back. If it is, then you have a problem with one of your plugins. You can log into your WP admin at this point and activate the plugins one at a time. Each time you activate a new plugin, refresh your site to see it goes down again. Eventually you'll find the faulty plugin. If doing this with the "plugins" folder doesn't help, you can try the same process with the "themes" folder. When uploading the new core files you said de-select wp includes but clicked on wp content. Which is the right one to de-select?

Sorry, sometimes I can't do two things at once. The new core WordPress files you upload are ALL the files and folders EXCEPT the wp-content folder and wp-config.php file. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!

I have migrated my website from one hosting to another. Everything went well. Now, website is working fine but when I open the wordpress dashboard, it keeps searching for hours and don't enter into the dashboard area. I tried everything which u have mentioned in this tutorial... but still have the same problem. Simply, when i open my website directly, it opens. But, when I try to login into wordpress dashboard by putting username and password, it starts searching for the dashboard which never ends.

Your best bet would be to contact your new host's support to see if they can find the problem. After you enter your login details and your site is "searching" for the dashboard, can you try going to this page yourdomain.com/wp-admin/plugins.php Just replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name. Sometimes, it's only the dashboard that is the problem. That's the page that loads right after you log in. By going to the plugins page, you can test if it's just the dashboard page causing the problem. If not else works, you may want to try migrating your site again... It didn't work for me however my wp-config.php file had whitespace in the beginning which I removed and the problem was solved.

This tutorial may help Azahari, but it also may not. The mobile version of your site must be loading something that's breaking the site. Do know of any mobile-specific plugins or resources on your site?

cPanel is part of most hosting services. If you don't know where your cPanel is I would contact your host's support team. They will help. Some hosts don't use cPanel. If you're with one of those hosts I would ask for help uploading files to the server. That should be a doable request for them. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions.
