Hi David and Rachel. Delighted to watch you out in the new van at last - what a beauty. Looking forward very much to all that follows now - both in the van and on your travels. Enjoy ! George and Trish - CaravanningMacs.
Thank you - really appreciated - we’re really pleased to have it at long last and looking forward to many planned and some unplanned trips away 👍 all the best, David & Rachel 👍
So pleased you had such a lovely first trip out. Lovely location. The infinity bridge was beautiful. Love the way it’s been lit up. Lots to see where you were. Nice camera work. Good clear review. Nice site👍 looking forward to seeing what adventures 2022 brings you both 😊🧙♂️
Thank you - I was pleased it all went well on the first trip and also that we slept ok in it as always worry that after all the time something isn’t right.- the van nicer than I thought it would be (and I expected it to be good). Thanks again, exciting times - David & Rachel 👍
Glad to see you had a good night. I only found your channel a few weeks ago and have caught up with your vlogs. I am amazed at how patient you have been. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures. Take care Gill
Thank you for the comment - appreciated. We are delighted and are really excited about our adventures and where it will take us. Hope you’re all enjoying your break - all the best, David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾
Just had 2 nights here. We are from Whitley Bay and I would never have believed that this site existed. It is really quite amazing and great site for walking, engineering and industrial all in one with the same standard as every C&MC site. Also Beefeater right beside site. Also great shopping experience with Teeside Park walking distance 20 minutes, also Asda 10 minutes walking. People on site really friendly great experience. Thanks for the recommendation. More North East recommendations please.
It’s a great site isn’t it - you’re right so much on the doorstep and some fascinating engineering also. Pleased you found it helpful, we have more north east sites planned (and did Finchale Abbey last week which was nice and have Osmotherley next week planned) - thanks for the comment, appreciated- all the best David 👍
Very enjoyable watching you on your first outing in the van. Looks a nice area to visit, we have not covered this area. Enjoy planning more trips and we will catch you on the road sometime 😃🚐 Trev n Sue
Thanks Trev n Sue, really appreciate the comment. We can’t wait to see where it will take us beyond what’s already planned. The area is nice to visit and the sites only 5 mins or so from the A19. Catch you out and about sometime, somewhere 😀 - All the best and happy travels in 2022. - David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾👍
Thanks for sharing this. I'm heading to this site today for a couple of nights. As a wheelchair user, it's really helpful to be able to see what the site is like and the area around.
Thank you, appreciated. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the site, hopefully the weather will brighten up too. Pleased it was useful, enjoy your visit, let us know what you thought after your visit. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Thank you, really appreciate the comment, thought we would never get here at some points but it’s fabulous it’s now with us, and the journey begins - wishing you all the best, David & Rachel 👍
Ahh, you have the same dog breed that I do. Whitewater is probably one of the best sites I've been on, although I would say that about the location, too close to the A19 and there is noise. But, it's very handy for a beefeater pub, for me it's great as the site is only 20 minutes away, so it's easy for a single night's stay with a nice meal at the pub!
It’s a nice site isn’t it - the Labradors are lovely aren’t they (most of the time 😄) thanks for the comment, appreciated- all the best, David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾
Thanks Jim, really appreciate the comment and the kind words. The CV20’s are brilliant aren’t they, so pleased with it :) - Wishing you many more happy tours in Monty too - thanks again. David & Rachel 👍
At last!! So pleased your patience has finally been rewarded. Can’t wait to watch you get to grips with the upgrades proposed and further adventures. 👍
Thanks John, it’s great to move onto the next chapter now, and am starting to crack ok with things and am certainly looking forward to the adventures - all the best, David 👍
Thanks Pete and Wendy, really appreciate the comment. We’re so looking forward to lots of adventures. Wishing you both all the very best also, David & Rachel 👍
Wonderful🙂. Really pleased for you! My husband is from Stockton so we will definitely put this in the book of places to stay when we get our new van in………October groan, groan😕. ATB Ruth
Thanks Ruth, appreciated. It’s a nice site, we went there years ago and was nice then too and they have kept is well. Glad all the pitches are hard standing now too (gravel) - don’t think you would go far wrong at the White Water site. The wardens were lovely too. I’m sure October will come around very quickly and you will be over the moon when you get your van. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Great to see you guys finally out in the van and glad you all enjoyed your first trip out and also that Roxy seems to settle and enjoy it too - here's to the next one 👍
So glad to see you two out and about with Roxy in the van mate. Love it around there, Tyler has been quite a few time's, and i have done the RAT RACE there 3 times, that was fun :-) . You can't live to far from us, We live in Elm Tree Stockton, and that camp site is one of the places we are going to stay over so lovely to see it. Also mate, have a look at Sedgefield, there is a farm there which is a CAMC, not many pitches there but Sedgefield is a lovely place with nice walks and Hardwick Hall is only a mile away.
Thank you - appreciated 😊 Rachel did the Rat Race around the Tees, it was a good few years ago now (2014 I think). We’re about 20 mins or so from the Tees Barrage, often take Roxy for a walk around there if it’s wet (as it’s not too muddy around there!) I went to Hardwick Hall the other week to take Roxy for a walk - nice place. Is the site at Sedgefield the one which has the dog field which you can rent out as I think there is a couple? - Hope your van isn’t too long so you can get out and about very soon! All the best, David 👍
@@LeisureBit Yeah thats the one David, love Sedgefield, all pubs are dog friendly as well which is my priority. Hopefully van is still on track for March/April ( at the latest i hope) cheers mate
@@tylerstravels0610we took the dog there last year I think and thought it was worth a look - good idea 👍 fingers crossed on your van. You’ll be delighted when it arrives I’m sure 👍
Thank you - really appreciated. We’re over the moon, really pleased and it was definitely worth the wait. Looking forward to adventures and the memories to look back on - Wishing you many happy adventures and memories in Pearl in 2022 also. All the best, David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾
Great review thanks. I don’t quite understand how you rated the sites location a ‘3’ when you explained there’s so much close around it? Just found your channel. Grateful for the reviews 👍
Hi Gillian, thanks for the comment, the review ratings are just based on our personal view, if you’re looking for a site which has somewhere to walk the dog (or to go for a walk without the dog) and shops and things nearby it’s excellent - we rated as good (going towards excellent) as it’s in the middle of Teesside, as you can see from the site it’s self it’s excellent and places to go. We don’t want to over-rate to avoid any disappointment too. Very good point though - All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Excellent, why not eh - there’s a couple of places isn’t there where you can stay for free such as the car park near where I filmed the swans 🦢 Have seen a few folks parked up overnight there too. I see they have signs up ref having to pay for parking in the pub car park now but not sure if they are installed. All the best , David 👍
