I got to meet these guys a few years ago. Some of the chillest dudes you'll ever meet. Gabe (the bassist) is one of the most genuinely nice musicians I've met

@@george2994 He wasnt emotionally invested in the band anymore and said in a few tweets that he is a fan of his replacement and didnt think it was fair for him to stay in the band.
Three guitars having the same riff makes everything more intense. A good new drummer, things techniques the other didn't use to do. Phil never letting someone down. Probably one of the most expressive and intense vocals of metal nowadays. The saw is the law, my friends!
Rodrigo Pereira As someone who saw Whitechapel for the first time that day, I gotta say one guitarist doing the lead line while the other two play rhythm sounds super-intense, although it does kinda squeeze the bass player out of the mix. I reckon it'd be really cool if they got two contrasting lead lines going in a new composition
why cause he's black? some of the best drummers out there are black. I think having three guitarist is more fucked up than what some guy looks like, although this is the first time listening to them and maybe they actually utilize all three. my first impression though is they are fairly fucking good.
no shit? damn I remember when nick pierce was the drummer for the faceless. and that dude is a freakin monster on drums. didn't know chason was in the faceless. I guess I need to get back into there songs
Say what you want, the drummer fucking kills it! Amazing skills to learn all their songs on such short notice, Whitechapel songs are incredibly difficult to play on drums and he nailed it!
When I heard him play those ghost notes on the snare in the first track, it was pretty apparent the new drummer is fucking legit. To learn those songs in such a short period of time, not all drummers are that technically skilled. I mean, he learned the songs like a day before the show. I guess when you've drummed in The Faceless, you can play anything.
Gabe is such a cool bass player. He's almost a verbatim riff player but still has really cool parts. Also, looks incredible whilst playing. I feel like nobody talks about him. 😂
Phil is amazing. I wish I could do gutterals even 20% as kick ass as he does. Most Savage deathcore/death metal vocalist ever. Puts em all too shame even the Legends like CC,Suicide silence, cattle decap, etc. Actually Phil and Corpsegrinder are tied for #1 in my list they both will make you visualize a horror movie with every song. Best music ever
People need to realize they got a new drummer right before this tour and therefore are limited on what songs they can play. They probably just sent him the new CD and a few others to learn for now
Chason Westmoreland is one of the best drummer Ive ever seen playing... he's a fucking beast. He fills the whole song up but still makes it look so easy...
i like how he is just doing regular lows the whole show, and he just calls out england hey england RIP THE COLD GRASP OF THE PAST STILL HAUNTS ME!!! just to show that, while he changed the style, doesnt mean he isnt still the best in the game, and he shows it there, RIP
Guys, this is fuuuucking amazing, the performance, the sound, the guitar tone, the drummer is not the same, but he is animal, Phil is singing fenomenal, this is for me the best deathcore band ever.
I watch all of Bloodstock live performances on youtube and I love them all, i just wish they would put more camera angles on the crowd because its always amazing seeing crowd feedback like Wacken, Hellfest, Resurrection Fest, Graspop Download, Rock Am Ring, Woodstock, Pink Pop, Bizarre Fest, Lala Palooza, etc.
I was bummed finding out that Ben left, but.... I didn't realize they got Chason. Dude is killer. I remember seeing him back with Burning the Masses. He's a MONSTER
Whitechapel's the main reason I started listening to death metal. So ill never disown them over there musical directon, but goddamn do i miss the early days when they sounded the BRUTALIST and had all original band members still going hard. Every show seen was one to fucking remember thats for sure. Best part was how stoked they all seemed when i showed them my whitechapel tat when I met them at warped tour.. it was an awesome feeling🤘
Chason is a fucking brilliant drummer. Burning The Masses, Hate Eternal, The Faceless, Equipoise, Oceano. List goes on. Guys pure power, speed and groove. Check his videos.
I'm pretty sure whenever Phil does vocals, hundreds and hundreds of walruses begin their journey toward land to fight Phil, whom they've all mistaken for a challenging, dominant walrus.
Whoever did the mixing here did a great job. I feel like a lot of bigger shower and shows with a lot of unclean vocals the vocals are always way to quiet. Doesn't hurt that Phil is one of the best
@@skeletonoftheumbrella7644 Alex doesn't hold a candle to Phil and he'd admit it himself. I've followed Alex for years and whilst he's insane, Phil is just the undisputed king.
@@skeletonoftheumbrella7644 alex terrible? If your saying alex terrible is bad you need to rethink deathcore. Right now him, dickie allen, cj mcmahon, will ramos, phil bozeman are like at the top.
I love how their drummer looks it seems a disguise from his parent so that they won't ever know that he has a metal band cause they think all he knew in his life is from house to school and on Sundays is from home to church only..hahaha fucking awesome 🤘
Love the ghost notes on "The Saw Is The Law" the drummer added in. Definitely gives some color to the drums, rather than a standard 'machine' esq beat.
damn dude, phils band is the security xD, those are some big mean looking mother fuckers, loving the 4 different guitars, and that drummer back there killing shit!!!! I felt the strain on phils voice tho, its insane that these vocalists can do this straight day in day out
