Phil the OG & no doubt the absolute 🐐of Deathcore...I mean he was doing this inhuman other wordly vocals when few people understood Deathcore & most of the bands that were heavy... never wanted to be recognised as a Deathcore band (idk why they felt like that) but honestly Deathcore is the best fuckin music & it's 2022....you know Deathcore is getting fucking awesome now 🤘
It’s funny how people rate his scream at 1:42 based on its length. However if you actually are a screamer/growler you would know that screaming requires a lot less air and a lot more control than growling. Therefore screaming properly means you can scream for a much longer time than someone like Phil who has to growl that deeply. Unless you have an extremely low voice, getting that much air out at once for that long of a time is insanely hard
Phil is nasty... Love the vocals. Hard to find someone with the good high and lows. Big hype over Will Ramos who is definitely good, but don't forget about Phil. Hes no joke.
Agreed I havnt liked much since Kevin had to leave the band Ben is an excellent drummer but just not my style. Plus they abandoned the death metal sound they used to have. I understand evolving but damn man I miss these riffs and breakdowns
+KING METAL it's not even that it's worn out or his voice is changing. he does it on purpose. he can still hit those lows and gutturals just as well as he used to, he just doesn't want to focus on how deep he can go anymore.

Dude...if you tried to be a badass and "hurt everyone" your ass would get stomped out by about twenty guys. That isn't how it works. We call people like that "crowdkillers", and they aren't welcome. This isn't a hardcore show. People aren't going to stand by and let you swing on people just because you "feel" the music. You can still enjoy the show, get in the pit and have fun without "hurting everyone including yourself". That sounds dumb as shit.
He is like Nergal from Behemoth? He doesn't give the best of his voice onstage, so his vocals can be absolute brutal while recording? I mean he still has a very good voice in live performance, but still you can hear the difference.
