To compliment Operation Stage 2 on track I added a Whiteline Rear Sway Bay to the arse end of the FiST.
Thanks to Mitch for the install. I was initially there to do the downpipe also but the weather moved in so the super fast install of the rear sway bar happened instead.
Installation is very easy, all up could be done in around 10 minutes.

As always thanks to Avrilcadabra for the rad tracks, link below to the channel:

Thanks for the vid! Just installed mine today. Super easy. I didn’t even have the most appropriate tools for the job so I was a little worried but it took me MAYBE 20 minutes doing it by myself with the Jack that came with the car to lower the rear. The car definitely feels a little more responsive but the true test will be when I finally get out to another Autocross

Now that the bolts are in, if you really want to test it, do some autocross with it on and take it off for a run to feel the difference. The rear just feels more connected and have more response to what the front is doing.

@@fordyford That's a great idea. Wouldn't take much to pop it off real quick.

Best mod I have done so far to the car, it was a huge improvment at the track. 👍

Nice video man !!! i want to install DNA 22mm too . At the moment i have OEm suspension and i'm installing quaife soon next week. So whats your opinion on rear sway bar? did you feel more confortable and safe in corners? got more over steer? thanks!!
@fordyford
@fordyford 3 года назад
It feels different so takes some time to regain confidence in how it responds but it feels amazing. Just did my 2nd track day with it and love how the rear reaponds to steering input.

Would swapping the spring whiles you've unbolted the dampers bolts worth it?
@fordyford
@fordyford 3 года назад
Same process so if you already had the springs ready to go in then it would be worthwhile, although, it's a 5 minute job to do the rear springs.

nice video !!! well i\m in between whiteline and DNA rear sway bar. In my projects is to install coilovers too. Do you thing sway bar will do any big difference in fast rad use? thanks
@fordyford
@fordyford 3 года назад
It does help yes. I enjoy how the car feels but it takes a little getting used to as it does feel different in the back end. I have a tack day next week to really push it.
@gd2001
@gd2001 3 года назад
@@fordyford Are you getting coilovers too ?
@fordyford
@fordyford 3 года назад
No plans at the moment for coilovers but would be a good option for more track days. You could really dial in your handling and get even more from a sway bar upgrade.

Is your gearbox whining? Can hear something that sounds like a gearbox whine when u drive after the install 🤔
@fordyford
@fordyford 3 года назад
No it isn't. I'm not sure what you are hearing. Possibly just road noise? I'll have a closer listen but the gearbox definitely isn't making any noise.
@fordyford

I had the air con running and that is the noise you can hear.
